Very nice room & a very nice hotel, but the service at breakfast & dinner was a bit hit & miss. Staff sometimes forgot you were there and didn't always take in what you had actually ordered. Other than that we had a very enjoyable stay.

This hotel was a truly great experience. I can't fault it on anything. I stayed here for a week on a business trip, and everything was first-class. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with great respect and professionalism. The staff were very helpful at all times. My room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. I would... More

I stayed at this hotel for a conference last week and it was really great. The room had a very comfortable bed, deep bathtub and a rainfall shower, although I didn't have a view on the 5th floor. What made the hotel stand out was its location and amenities-- it's a walkable distance to Long Street, Kloof Street, the Company's... More

The hotel is amazing! The hotel staff are very friendly!we did want a smoking room but none available but they let us smoke in the cigar lounge. This is our first day I will add another review and pictures tomorrow! It is safe to walk around outside at night as long as you stay on the main road!

Accommodation standard never fails , good complimentary personal amenities including luxury pillow collection. Breakfast always top class with a good spread. The mountain view rooms is something else and beats those that look into brick walls, generally ok with that option on brief stays however this time round due to availability had no option to pay a premium for the... I spent 6 nights at the Taj Cape Town and it was all about the pampering; right from the doorstep, I was made to feel like a royalty. Great view of the iconic Table mountains from the hotel room. Great food too.

Overall, a fabulous hotel. My favourite for Cape Town. Good points: - Great location - just a few mins uber from all the main sites - All the public areas are absolutely immaculate; the lobby, hallways, etc. - Great breakfast. Pancakes, perfect pastries, fruits, cured and cooked meats, array of fruit juices - Luxurious rooms. Done in a classic style,... More
