Robotic check in staff, not very upbeat. Breakfast mediocre. Room was clean, asked for a city view, requested a smoking room, but got view of a grey wall. Still got charged the same price. Room was clean. Place felt slightly cold, not the temperature but the ambiance. Will be back to try again. Marriott took over, but huge improvements ought...

This hotel is one of the best hotels that I have stayed in. The bathrooms are huge and beautiful and the room is spacious, clean and you have magnificent views of Table Mountain. Breakfast has options for everyone.

Once again I find myself reviewing another 5 star hotel and once again it has lived up to expectations. Firstly, I've visited this hotel on a number of occasions but was never really ever keen to stay here. However, in March I flew down to do the two Oceans marathon and wanted something more central Cape Town. So from a...

The hotel is well positioned just next to the Company Gardens, where the dutch grew vegetables for ships on their way to Batavia. This is a good place to have meals as there is a popular cafe under the trees in the park. The hotel seems not to have a chef. Instead it appears to bring in food, ready prepared,...

I had the opportunity to spend 3 days in the hotel. I arrived a bit earlier in the hotel but I had a room almost on the fly. The reception desk was very friendly ( even if not 100% efficient). The room was really great..with a superb bathroom…clean, quiet…it was a superior room with 80 square meters…real value for money....

I've stayed at African Pride 15 on Orange for a combined leisure/business trip end March 2017. I love love love my room. The setting is super nice, and quite romantic actually (just that I stayed alone so couldn't use 100% of the facilities, but loved it). It's quite center of Cape Town, next to the Company Garden where it's nice...

Nice staffs. Breakfast is okay. However, I requested non smoking room but room 527 had strong smell of someone smoked previously. The hotel tried to filter out the smell with an ozone filter but not really helped much.

Just a wonderful hotel - very trendy and good location. The rooms are big and nice - I would recommend rooms to the outside - there is also a courtyard and these rooms are a bit dark during the day. I had a perfect stay and the service is also very good in this hotel. I will be back for...

We stayed here on points as the first leg of a month long trip to Africa. For value in terms of using points, was great. Our room was very spacious so we could spread out which was nice. Had a nice coffee shop in the lobby and a gym with some free weights and treadmills. Wasn't in a super touristy...

Positives A few outstanding staff, especially in the concierge areas. The location. The room size. The grandeur of the lobby. Negatives - billing process. Half of my group had issues with bills. Check your bills, and ask first if unsure about costs - the housekeeping was motel standard (dirty bordering on unhygienic and untidy) - the front desk staff (must...
