Having visited CT on a number of occasions I was looking for somewhere new, and as all fellow travellers know this can sometimes be challenging... Well here at Noah's House there is nothing to disappoint, from the warm welcome, the super standards throughout the property, and the rooms that are 'as good as anywhere' in the world. The service was given directly by the owners Sarina and Gerald and could not be bettered. Breakfast on the sunny terrace is of a quality and pace sure to gently nudge you into the day after a night out in Cape Town! If you are lucky enough to get down to the Cape, this place is not to be missed.
NOAH House is a wonderful accommodation choice when visiting Cape Town. Located in the city without feeling like it is in the city gives this beautiful property extra appeal. Sarina and Gerald are warm and inviting hosts, nothing is too much trouble, and their breakfasts are completely instagramable! The rooms are beautifully appointed and absolutely pristine. There are excellent restaurants within walking distance. Happy to have discovered NOAH House, we’ll definitely be back for future visits.
We came here for the serving of their first breakfast that they are now providing on the weekends, and it was absolutely delicious 😋 The hostess, Sarina, is extremely attentive to detail. All in all - an absolute must to be visited in on this quiet side street in the heart of Cape Town. The coffee is absolutely the best!
We live in Onrus but wanted to take our visiting family from the UK for five days to Cape Town and chose this guest house for our stay. We couldn’t have made a better choice. Bruce and Ann made us all feel very welcome and the staff was also friendly and efficient. A delicious full breakfast was provided and our room had a comfortable lounge. We would thoroughly recommend this accommodation. David and Pamela Onrus and Colin and Diana UK.
Our stay at the Underberg Guest House was like Home away from Home. Cosy interiors and decor, clean room, decent breakfast options, friendly staff especially Ms Anne who went above and beyond. Perfect location for Tourist attractions and restaurants. The Table Mountain was just a Balcony view away. Overall an excellent stay and would highly recommend to anyone who wishes to visit Cape Town!
Anne and Bruce made us very welcome and helped my wife and I get the absolute best out of our stay. They were able to book taxis, advise on the best places to eat and even booked Table Mountain cable car tickets for us. We would definitely recommend this Guest House.
Underbreg was a perfect base while visiting Capetown. The area felt safe, nice restaurants and bars within walking distance of the house. Clean room, comfortable bed, good breakfast and friendly staff couldn't ask for more.
Thirteen Years ago, I stayed alone at The Underberg Guest House in Cape Town. Now, I returned in January 2020 with my wife to this remarkable place that has gone thru a total make-up and renovation. Made in a stylish colonial british way, making the building brething freshness and young reborn. A total positive surprise hosted by the very nice couple Annie and Bruce, who maid our stay to something very rare and special. We just loved the place and the service performed was absolutely excellent. The staff cooking the breakfast for you was trimmed in the best way in pleasing the Customers. Such fresh fruit and juices, wonderful egg omelettes by regular and included order and a great smile from the efficient girls of the kitchen and housekeeping. If you are about going to Cape Town, just skip the idea of entering a anonymous hotel. Instead you book a nice room at Underberg House private lodge and you will face an experience you will keep in mind for the rest of your life! Dont wait - take action NOW and book your stay at this faboulus lodge which we highly recommend! / Nils & Katarina from Sweden…
I would strongly recommend the Underberg. Beautiful old Building nestling under table mountain in a great location for the city. Bruce and Anne were great hosts and very helpful. Breakfast was fantastic.
This is a lovely tranquil house with a delightful atmosphere. This was our second visit. We particularly enjoy the quiet location but easy access to the city and Table mountain. The views are simply breathtaking. Enjoy the breakfasts and the rather pleasing honesty bar. Bruce and Anne are exemplary hosts. Philip and Julia
