The views of the harbour and Table Mountain are fantastic. (To the best of our knowledge, every room is a "view room".) Located next door to a large indoor shopping mall (Victoria & Albert), as well as in close proximity (walking distance) to an array of mid- to upper-price eating establishments. Other shopping and museums are nearby. Breakfast is buffet...

We didn't book our stay at this hotel until we had arrived in SA for our break. We were fortunate they had a few spare rooms. We ended our 2 week break with 2 nights at the Table Bay Hotel. This hotel exceeded all our expectations from the parking to the food including dinner and in room breakfast to the...

A large group of us (about 60) stayed here as part of a trip to South Africa. As soon as you walk into the hotel, you will immediately be hit with how upmarket everything feels. We found the hotel rooms to be large and well provided regards amenities. Fantastic distance to many local bars and restaurants coupled with activities such...

Might be a little old-fashioned for some, but the atmosphere is superb. The service levels in the bar and the central lounge area are first class. Location is fabulous to enjoy the best of the V & A waterfront. The only negative is the wait for breakfast on occasions -not everyone wants to sit outside and share their meal with...

I stayed in this hotel for 4 days. The room is nice and clean like all 5 stars hotels. Its one of the best around the waterfront area and seems more convenient then the others that are more pricy (and claim to be better). The service can be better though, I had a red wine bottle right next to complementary...

What : business meetings over 2 days The pros : nice location in waterfront, with direct access to shops and many restaurants. Nice views on waterfront area and table bay. Decent rooms even if deco is starting to feel a bit old. The cons : very bad service at reception level, staff not aware of details of their clients booking,...

We always go to this hotel for a light dinner in the lobby bar or just for some evening drinks. Friendly and attentive staff. Good quality food, well presented. Nice quiet atmosphere, with comfortable seating. The protea flower arrangements are just stunning! Well worth going just to see them. A member of "the leading hotels of the world". This is...

We cannot rate this hotel highly enough. So comfortable and what a great location. Easy walk into the Waterfront. The choice for breakfast was immense and all so beautifully presented. Sitting and having a coffee with friends was equally as lovely as sitting having a drink at the bar.

The Victoria and Alfred Waterfront is just so vibrant and sitting at the top of it is the stunning Table Bay Hotel. Great with the harbour just outside with seals and dolphins for your pleasure, but the whole area has so much to offer with shops stalls bars cafes and restaurants. The hotel delivers luxury with friendship, great bedrooms excellent...
