The only positive is the location. It´s near to The V&A Waterfront, good restaurants, shops and entertainment. No wifi and the rooms are little bit old... I´d recommend another onte than this, inspite of the friendly customer service.

My NGO booked us into Dale Court over a business visit to Cape Town. I was really discouraged when I read the most recent reviews and was preparing myself for a hostel-like experience. Instead, I was very pleasantly surprised! Yes, the decor is a bit outdated and the wifi charge is verging on exorbitant, but they tick so many other...

My girlfriend and I spent three days in the Dale Court Guesthouse. Strategically well located in a safe area of Cape Town. The Guesthouse is clean and well maintained. Receptionists staff are professional and helpful. Breakfast was very poor but could be improved. Comfortable rooms although the furniture are old and the 20th century TV without cable service. A very...

The only positive about this accommodation is the close proximity to restaurants, shops and entertainment. Customer service is good and that is really about it. The place is just ancient with no dstv, which was a first. Totally not recommended if you have to leave the convenience of your home for a long-term visit.

Stayed for a week at Dale Court. The location is excellent for the surrounding restaurants. There was a shop about two blocks far, where we could easily get groceries; the Waterfront is a walking distance and it was safe to walk. The guest house is located at a dead-end street, kind of calm. The staff was really helpful and there...

I totally agree with everyone on Trip Advisor who has praised the location. I must do, as I have just booked for my third stay here. It is an easy, safe walk to everything - important when travelling Solo - be it the Stadium for Sports, or Concerts, V & A Waterfront, Ferry to Robben Island, Hop On Off Bus,...

Rooms very clean and basic. A bit dated and in need of a revamp. Their "world famous breakfast" is quite awful - cold eggs and limited choice but edible. Well situated in close proximity to waterfront and some great restaurants nearby - notably "El Burro".
