The hotel offers good value for money. We got breakfasts included in our room rate and the breakfasts were lovely. Lydia in the dining room made our days brighter! She was simply fabulous! The location is fabulous, being only a short stroll away from the V&A Waterfront shopping centre, and close to other big tourist attractions. The car service that...

The Commodore was a good choice for the start of our holiday in South Africa. It's very close to the V&A waterfront area which is just what you want. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel offered everything you would expect from a four star international hotel. We didn't have an evening meal in the hotel, but breakfast...

I stayed at the Commodore Hotel in Cape Town in late July 2016. I was there during the renovations and experienced some difficulty with the room and internet, and the staff were fantastic and provided an upgrade. The staff were very helpful, friendly and welcoming. The concierge in particular was great and his recommended tours were right on. The hotels...

The rooms are very nice, mostly modern and clean. Bathroom was spacious and toiletries provided (except tooth brush and tooth paste, take your own) Has nice pool and gym as well as lounge area for a last night ice-cream.

My wife and I stayed at the Commodore for two weeks from 7/1/17 - 21/1/17. This was our first trip to South Africa and the hotel had come highly recommended by friends. The hotel did not disappoint. We arrived at the hotel on a Saturday morning at 9 am, after 12 hour flight from London. The booking in process was...

The Commodore is a stunning hotel with friendly staff and so conveniently located. It is the only place I stay when in Cape Town on business. The rooms are extremely comfortable and the wi-fi is strong.

Considering the peak season, the rate was very reasonable. The location and proximity of this hotel makes it very ideal in terms of things to do and getting around with Uber and the like. The hotel was neat, festive and comfortable. I enjoyed the breakfast and the rooms were more than satisfactory. I shall return. Thank you Commodore.

Great location for V&A Waterfront just a 5 min walk away for good shopping and restaurants. We stayed 4 nights and had pre booked trips to The Peninsula and for cable car to Table Mountain. We booked a trip to Robben Island after we had arrived. All excellent trips. Comfortable room with fridge, A/C noisy. Excellent breakfast, helpful staff. Would...

My wife and I stayed here three nights during a recent three week trip to South Africa. We were all here for two nights initially and then for a third night a week later. Our initial stay was pleasant except for a very noisy air conditioner we finally had to turn off so it wouldn't wake us up every time...
