Very good location, close to company gardens and the slave museum - not far too for a txi ride to the Waterfront. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the rooms very comfortable. Great buffet breakfast

They demand that guests park in the street, walk to the reception to get a card, surrender that card upon exit and repeat the process. That might be ok for a conference guest, but it is exceptionally annoying, and an inconvenience for someone staying for several days. Definitely never returning to this place

The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is good. The Trees Restaurant in the hotel was awesome, I had the most delicious lamb chops and vegetables. I booked this hotel at least 7 months ago and they gave us a room right by the elevators, very noisy and unpleasant. I hate staying at hotel that appear to scrape every...

We stayed here for three nights at the beginning of a tour of South Africa. The hotel is situated in a quiet leafy area within walking distance of Long Street (where you can pick up the sightseeing buses). We arrived early morning and the reception staff were very helpful in securing an early check in for us. Our room on...

This hotel is ideally situated for the city centre and is a well run friendly hotel. The restaurant is reasonably priced with a limited menu but well presented and well cooked, for a hotel restaurant the food is good. A good breakfast in the morning and freshly cooked. The only down side in the restaurant the service can be slow....

We spent three nights at the Townhouse Hotel over the New Year. The location is central to many of the sights from Parliament to the Slave Museum to the gardens. It is a 45-minute walk to V&A Waterfront. There are many restaurants close by. The hotel itself is very modern. Rooms are nice, the breakfast is delicious and the bar...

Good points: Lovely room, smaller than some we had stayed in but still a good size for a city hotel. Breakfast choice was amazing. Some staff were attentive and very helpful, which did make up for the bad points below! Given access to a shower room before the taxi collected us at 6pm to freshen up for the flight home....

The Townhouse hotel is very well located, which makes it move around town quite easy which is a plus in any city. I really liked the room, it was beautifully decorated, very comfy and also broad variety of channels, which is something some hotels cannot get it, and in my opinion it’s an added bonus of this hotel. So if...

We stayed at the Townhouse for a week at the end of December. The hotel room was a bit small from what we have had in other places but beds were comfortable and we had a lovely view of table mountain out our window. Concierge service at this hotel was terrible, we often rely on these people when travelling for...

I really enjoyed this classy hotel situated in downtown Cape Town. Great location and very stylish and clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts were delicious with a great selection of foods, and the restaurant (Trees) was also very good.
