Really enjoyable stay. Breakfast good and location perfect for us, a short walk to Cloof Street. No hesitation going back to this accommodation. Rooms different sizes, but ours was upstairs and plenty big enough for us.

This lovely hotel was exactly what we wanted for our stay in Capetown. We stayed in room 10, which was beautifully decorated and had a view of Table Mountain from our balcony. The breakfast were wonderful as were the sitting areas and courtyard. The staff were friendly and the manager was super helpful. It was a pleasure to return to...

We chose to stay in Welgelegen as we love smaller boutique style hotels that have character and soul and we wanted to be able to walk to restaurants in the evening and not have to reply on taxi's every night. Welgelegen was the perfect choice. The hotel was made up of two large Victorian mansion houses connected by a beautiful...

Great hotel. Really friendly staff who could not do enough for us. Great advice on trips and arranged all tickets needed. Excellent location near Kloof St. Breakfast was great and room superb. Definitely recommend to others visiting Cape Town!

We stayed here for three nights in July. They spoiled us! The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. We had great views of Table Mountain from our balcony. Breakfast is yummy. At night, we walked a few blocks to many restaurant choices. Definitely would stay here again.

This bed and breakfast is in a nicely renovated Victorian in an excellent area of Cape Town. Located on a quiet side street, it is very close to the liveliness of Kloof Street with its boutiques and trendy restaurants. Service is warm and personable... Including hot water bottles delivered in the evening! Highly recommended.

My 17 year-old daughter and I stayed here for the last four nights of a 24 day trip to Southern Africa. We were ready to be pampered a bit and Fiona and team made that happen. Our room was comfortable, the staff are lovely, and the breakfast is delicious! I really appreciated the honor bar with little snacks, the nice...

Due to a cancelled flight we arrived at Welgelegen 24 hours later than planned having left the UK 44 hours previously. To be greeted by such a wonderful hotel was such a pleasure. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of nice touches in terms of the room and the bathroom and the bed was so comfy. Lovely breakfast...

We were so happy with our 4-night stay at Welgelegen Guesthouse. With decor that ranges from chic to shabby chic, it feels lived-in, cozy and stylish at the same time. Fiona and her staff work hard to make sure everything goes your way--from booking taxis or airport connections to making restaurant reservations- even working miracles to fix a mixed-up reservation...
