Cape Cadogan is a lovely boutique hotel in the Garden District of Cape Town. The hotel is lovely and the staff amazing. So helpful and always gracious. The breakfasts are superb and more than you can really eat. The location was perfect for us and within walking distance of many restaurants and sights. Table Mountain is 1 mile away and... More

I agree with all writers about this hotel. It is small and very charming. The decor is new and clean, the rooms very stylish and unusual, our breakfast was wonderful and the staff are very helpful and friendly. I couldn't recommend it higher. Also in a good location fir nearby walks and popular restaurants, although some distance from the city... More

The Cape Cadogan is a boutique hotel with old-fashioned charm and modern-day luxury. The public areas are a little unusual, but characterful and comfortable. Breakfast could be taken indoors or out, and was of an excellent standard. The lounge was small enough to be cosy. The honesty bar was quite welcome. We stayed in "The Suite". This had a spacious... we chose this hotel because of it's position just outside the main central area of Cape Town, but close enough in to be able to walk to the V&A and all the nearby sites. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way; the staff are friendly and efficient and the rooms are comfortable, very well furnished and ours had a... More

The Cape Cadogan is an superb boutique hotel for those who do not like big chains. The small grounds are beautiful. The staff are well informed and accommodating. The address is situated along side the very festive Kloof Street, and good restaurants are easy to find when it comes to dinner. The rooms are very clean and well appointed, and... More

Beautiful hotel, sophistically designed and incredibly relaxing. Within walking distance to the harbour front and the fabulous Kloof Street. Impeccable service and a must stay for anyone in Cape Town.

17th century beauty in great location. Three couples in our 60s stayed for three nights. We had rooms 1, 5 and 12 and each was beautiful with the largest marble bathrooms I have ever seen. The made to order breakfast, which was included, was delicious.

I loved this boutique hotel. It has great character and each room is unique. The common sitting room was cozy and a nice place to chat with other travelers. The staff had fabulous restaurant recommendations and tips for the surrounding neighborhood. I have stayed on the V & A waterfront, and much prefer this old section of town. It is... More

We enjoyed our stay at Cape Cadogan enormously. Very friendly and helpful staff and a lovely room. Breakfast was wonderful. Rather too far to walk to the V and A Waterfront but the hotel has a shuttle bus or will find you a taxi. 10 minutes or so from Table Mountain and a minute from the shops, bars and restaurants... A group of us recently stayed at this hotel for four nights. It is a lovely boutique hotel, with each room different from the other. We stayed in Room 4 on the top floor, which was accessed by an outside spiral staircase. This was great for us, but if you have any mobility issues you should request a room on... More
