This place holds some dear memories. It is a wonderful centrally located place for those who want to try restaurants and go to the bars. It was super cheap. We ended up cancelling our other hotels and staying here. wonderful place to make friends and find things to do.

If you like drink beer with new friends on the bar then it is nice hostel for you. Place are still alive and noisy. When you prefer quiet place then is better to look somewhere else. Nice location in city centre wih pub and bars all around.

Everyone is helpful, with a great vibe and very friendly atmosphere. The room is nice and cosy, with one bathroom for 5. The wifi costs 20 rands a day and is very effective. Long street is very animated and allows multiple nice encounters. People from all around the world converge here, which leads to plentiful of nice conversations.

Great staff..location...bar...and drinking games. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds. I'd advise visiting this place. I cannot give any hostel full stars when the Wi-Fi is not free (despite hearing their reasons). I would stay again though

Stayed here because it had a BazBus pickup in the morning and was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the room...would recommend for a cheap option right in the heart of Cape Town.

We started our trip of South Africa in Long Street and was happy with our stay in Long Street Backpackers. We enjoyed the communal areas and kitchen and the free pool table. Not too pleased with our double room though as it smelt very bad of smoke and maybe because of the old bra under the bed! The are the...

My experience at Longstreet Backpackers started on a Saturday morning after three hours of sleep. It was the third hostel at which I required for a bed and I was happy when I had to search no further. Also I was welcomed with a warm hug. Hoping for a long night of deep sleep, I was probably the first in...

I stayed at LSB for about 10 days last year and i have to say, it is my favorite place on earth. the vibes, the people, and even the crazy cat were all pieces of this perfect puzzle. I wouldnt consider staying anywhere else in CT and neither should you!

I spent about a week or so at this place and it never got boring. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Cape Town. The backpackers is situated in the middle of Longstreet. So you will find perfectly everything you need within walking distance. They got nice balconies where you can watch the crowded streets and enjoy...
