I'd really recommend staying at Once if you're looking for a central hotel with a nice vibe and great bar & activities and want to meet people. We stayed here for 3 nights in total. Location was great, breakfast good, and especially the rooftop bar with weekend dj's & drinks is super nice. The bar closes at 11 so you...

We love stay in OICT! The hostel is amazing! Is really younger and hapiness place! Everyday has some activites for socialize the guests. The restaurant and pub is open every day, it's a pity they close early - but you must try the avocado in a piece of pizza. Is so delicious! The breakfast is really good, there are some...

We stayed in a good size, well cleaned private room. The guided excursions led by Isabella were excellent. All the reception staff, especially Justine made us feel very welcome and looked after. Great place, buzzing bar, with tasty food. We would definitely stay there again.

Good place if you want to meet other young people. Friendly staff. We stayed at the camp side which was expensive but a very nice location. There was no wifi and the bathrooms where rather ok than nice but we still enjoyed the time here as it was quite and with a great view

Perfect location, great atmosphere and so friendly! The dorms were fab with plugs and lights by your bed including a lock box where you could charge your electronics and lock them away at the same time by your head! Free trips daily and free beer in the evenings - great bar, fab music. A must visit in Cape Town!

Very noisy. Loud bar directly in front of the window. The reception didnt pay any attention to my complaints. Run down rooms. Air Conditioning is not working and the bathrooms are not very clean either.

This place is very central has a roofbar and a cafe with great coffee..it is a hotspot for travelers, wannabee models, cool kids and party animals.. so if you are between 20 and 30 and single the place to be. For over 30 it may get too loud at night, although the staff tries it best to keep the night...

What I did like was the location, there were restaurants and bars, all in walking distance. The bed was comfy and big! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The vibe was great. What I didn't like was the bathtub didn't have a plug, so washing was uncomfortable. The TV had no good watchable channels and the TV wasn't watchable...

Good spot to stay in! The yours truly next to the backpacker is packed with the young, trendy people of Cape Town. Giving to the place a nice vibe. Because of all this activity the place can become noisy. not recommended for people who want to sleep early!

Lovely clean rooms and amazing bathroom. A little noisy if you are looking for an early night as the bar doesn't close until 10pm which pumps out the music. The breakfast could be a little more varied after a 5 night stay it gets a little boring.
