My friend and I were actually planning to stay at another hostel when we accidentally ended up at this one. I can tell you now that this hostel just made our Africa trip that much better. The breakfasts served everyday had healthy options. The music was hipster. Booking through the front desk was easy. I can tell you now I'm... More

My wife and I stayed in a one of the second story rooms, on the opposite side of the building to the bar. There was a beautiful view of the mountain from our room. We enjoyed a party just outside the venue in the evening and could sleep in peace and quiet when we were tired enough for bed. Everything... More

I arrived at 1am but was still given a warm welcome and a very long and detailed tour by the guy behind the desk (he was a bit drunk but apparently it was his birthday- I found out later!). The tour took me to a great kitchen, where you get your own labelled box for the fridge, the meditation room,... More

Every time I stay in a backpackers I think that they really don't get very good value for money and this place is no different. I stayed in a room for 3 days and while it was OK it really wasn't good for the money I paid. I did stay in a 4 person dorm for one night and this... More

Absolutely loved it! Staff are really helpful and friendly. Great location and having the three restaurants close by made it easy for me to wander out and get food and not worry about going out by myself. Loved it!

This hostel was a fantastic location, close to food places and along the main strip of Cape Town. The staff were great in helping us organise our activities and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast is basic downstairs in their little restaurant but good for a free breakfast.

Where to start here...we didn't CHOOSE this hostel. It was the meeting point for our tour and being two 30 somethings, we felt old and grouchy compared to the 'surfs up brah' crowd that really seemed to be enjoying their stay there. Staff is friendly but the lobby is chaotic. High fives all around for the teen to twenty somethings... More

Had an awesome time staying there and hanging out during my stay in Cape Town. The people working there are super nicer and hospitable. Free daily tours and/or activities to keep the residents entertained (typically a very young crowd). The bar is great, usually one of the most lively places on long street in the evening, stop by even if... More

I only stayed in this hostel for one night during a tour with Hotspots2C. The hostel is located in the center of Cape Town close to Long Street. The staff was friendly, our room (including bathroom) was small but clean and the beds quite comfortable with each bed having its own in-built locker. However as our rooms were facing the... More
