There is nothing to fault in this place (if you like hostels and shared dorms, that is). I stayed in a mixed dorm with a shared bathroom, and everything was always exceptionally clean, the staff were super friendly and laid-back, but always willing to help with anything (and most importantly, always there, so you never felt alone) and the location...

Nice cozy place close to the stadium, port and watterfront. There is a patio, pool and bar. They can cook breakfast for you for like 30 R and burger for 50 R. Great value for money. There are also many restaurants right next to it. Same as grocery store and liquer shop:)!

I've stayed at Never@Home twice now, an unbeatable location (walked to town, the beach and the waterfront mall no problem), great vibe and just the best staff. For a working traveller, I found it was nice to have both a party environment and chill spaces to get stuff done too :)

I stayed here overnight after watching football at Cape Town stadium - it was perfect because the stadium is directly across the road. My room was quiet even though the hotel is on a busy main road. Lots of restaurants/shops nearby, helpful staff, communal kitchen and a nice buffet continental breakfast (you pay extra for this). Never@Home is about a...

This hostel was a great start to my first solo trip ever. Upon arrival I immediately felt very welcome (shuttle service from the airport was great!). Had lots of fun at the bar with all the other guests, but the best part of the hostel was definitely the staff. Their advice on what to do was spot on every time,...

We stayed in a private room for 4 nights. The beds were our most uncomfortable of our whole trip in South Africa, but otherwise, we had a good experience at Never@Home. We loved the hot breakfast options... much better than we've gotten in many hostels around the world. Also, the location was convenient to many other restaurants, a grocery and...

Super well situated in between the busy city center and the nice beaches. Never@home's staff is nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and modern. Just be sure to ask a room which is not directly on the street if you want to avoid the street noise.

I actually opted to go back here after booking in for a weekend. The bar is a nice place to chill and meet other travellers. The staff are all friendly and really seemed genuine. Location is great for the V&A waterfront and uber is really cheap in this country to take you wherever you need to go. Bars and resturants...
