This really is a wonderful B&B. We first stayed here in 2009 and were so impressed that when we recently had the chance to come back to Cape Town it was the obvious choice - and it certainly did not disappoint. Ruth really makes you feel welcome and could not be more helpful. Incidentally, once you have stayed you will...

Stayed 4 nights and very much enjoyed it. High quality accommodation but with a cosy personal touch. Good location for easy access to Table mountain and main routes into the city. Walking distance to good bars and restaurants on Long street in good safety.

Hi Adrian Many thanks for your review. I do try and make sure that the Lodge has a relaxed, and personal feel - a contrast to impersonal hotels. I am glad you were happy with the location - close to the major sights, and safe walking distance to restaurants and bars. My best wishes to you both Ruth

A week before Christmas we stayed at the Liberty Lodge for three days. We just arrived at South Africa for four weeks. Owner Ruth made us feel very welcome and helped us planning our Capetown days and further trip. A really nice Guesthouse in a pleasant part of Capetown close to Kloofstreet, with nice restaurants.
