I can't possibly see how this could be called a 4 star hotel. Yes there are facilities such as a laundry service and a bar on site but the basics aren't there and there's been very little attention to detail. All I want from a hotel is a decent sleep, a nice shower and a few cups of tea. Pros:...

PROS - Reasonable price. - The reception staff were lovely and very helpful. - Reception can help order food from many restaurants if you ask them. Lots of vego options for take away and they deliver to your room. - The terraced garden is immaculate with lovely views. - The common areas are clean, contemporary and pleasant. - The bed...

Was traveling to Cape Town for 2 days only , so only night stay required. Found a good deal on Bookings.com - R590 for one night. Located at the edge of the CBD, near Boukaap. Situated on hill facing , so great views from the lodge. Friendly staff. Rooms was neat , clean & comfortable. Breakfast is optional (English style...

Located up virtually the north face of the Igor (not a rolling hill) - so an easy walk into town, but an absolute butt busting walk back (get an Uber it's around 35 rand) if you book in here. Booked via bookings.com so that I could pay at the property, however the property charged my cc and the reception lady...

Beautiful scenic views - day and night. The decor is smart, yet modern. Disappointing: My room only had hot water. They claim water is safe to drink, but only hot water. Need a cooler shower?..sorry only hot, hotter and very hot water. They do supply some bottled water to brush your teeth, I was told when I checked out. The...

We loved our stay. All of the staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. This lodge is small but that did not affect our stay adversely and in fact added to the personal attention and warmth. Room was clean, and fully equipped. It is not a huge room but it is very comfortable, had everything we needed and offered a lovely...

We stayed here for there nights. It was lovely. Yes, as previous reviews have stated, the rooms are small, & the shower room is certainly bijou! Staff, with one exception, were extremely friendly & helpful. The one exception was fierce & almost aggressive- but she knows who she is & needs to get a life! Breakfast was great as was...

We stayed at this lodge two nights ago, on first appearance we were pleased by its aesthetic appearance from the outside as it sits directly next to a slum which means the property is sat behind gates for security reasons. This gave us some relief as we were being watched. When we were met by the receptionist we struggled with...

I stayed here with a friend for three nights in Dec 2016. The room was quite small and only had one plug, so you could either use the aircon and not charge anything, or you'd have to unplug the aircon so you could charge your appliances. The bathroom was tiny and the door didn't close properly. The water system was...

Did like: Clean room, nice staff, great view from the balcony. The bed was very comfortable. Did not like: 1. The room is too small for two, no space at all (if you have a lot of luggage, this place is a bad choice). 2. The accommodation is overpriced (for such room size and location). 3. Breakfast was not included...
