Our stay at this guesthouse had been a wonderful experience. It was our first stay in Cape Town and our hosts Roland and Alex could not have been any more welcoming, helpful and lovely. It is wonderful that when you arrive you are not just...More
This is definitely one of the best Guesthouses my wife and I had ever been. Why? 1.) It’s perfectly situated whether you’re going to Capetown for visiting, shopping or eating, going to Table Mountain, Camps Bay or the Southern Peninsula, or just having lunch or...More
You know how it is always tricky to go back to a place you really enjoyed as there is the danger you'll be disappointed? Not at Jardin d'Ebene. This time we booked two nights, in a different room, and the experience was just wonderful. As...More

our Buffalo Luxury Room has a twin bed facility, all other rooms have double beds - Queen Size Extra Length in our Standard Rooms and King Size Extra Length in the Luxury Rooms. If you want to book please send a mail to us with the booking dates and we make a plan that the Twin Room is available.
We are very centrally located in Cape Town - the city centre is easy reachable by foot, we also arrange tours for you if you do not have an own car. Kirstenbosch Gardens is about a 20 to 30 minutes drive away, but you can reach it for example with the Hop On/Hop Off bus - a very convenient way to explore the city. The Robben Island Ferry is just a 10 minutes drive away - if you want to take a taxi it will cost you approx. 50 - 60 Rand per trip to the V&A Waterfront.
If you want to see the penguin colony it makes sense to combine it with the Tour to the Cape of Good Hope - you could do it on a half day tour, but I always recommend a full day tour, which we also could arrange you. You will be picked up at the guesthouse and when you come back they return you to the guesthouse, or to any other place in the city...
We have plenty of VERY good restaurants within walking distance from our guesthouse (5 to 10 minutes) and it is safe to walk there even at night.
We also have a MyCiti Bus Stop nearby if you want to use public transport to travel in the city.
It's not easy to mention all possibilities you have in a short message - if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.
Thanks and have a great day,
