Had a wonderful 3 night stay. The room was even nicer than I had expected - fanstic enormous bed with lovely sheets. The whole house and gardens are beautiful. The location was perfect - we were able to walk down long street and to the waterfront - so convenient. There are loads of fantastic restaurants very close by. It is...

My sister and I recently stayed at Tintagel during our stay in Cape Town. This guesthouse was quaint, charming, well maintained and comfortable. However, what really stood out was the kindness of the staff and the service we received. On our first day, we were warmly greeted by the owner and manager at breakfast (it's included and hits the spot)....

Excellent accomodation in a beautiful, stylish house from ca. 1880. Very friendly and helpful staff and owner. Very good breakfast. Good location (some restaurants and supermarkets nearby, not far from Compnay Gardens).

My husband and I stayed at Tintagel for three days. It was an oasis in the heart of a bustling city. The hosts, especially Utah , could not have been more welcoming, providing tea on arrival, booking restaurants and sees sting places to visit and travel routes. The room, indeed the guesthouse, was full of antique furniture and you could...

We stayed at the Tintagel for 5 nights at the beginning of our stay mid-February and our last night early March and could not have been more pleased. The Tintagel was originally two properties and has been very tastefully renovated by its architect owner, Ivan. Clarke and Utah are the two front of house young men who do their jobs...

Tintagel is a small hotel, very nicely furbished. Large room with ensuite. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Situated near city center, Table mountain, and shops and restaurants on Kloof str in walking distance. Breakfast very good. A bit noisy (other rooms, streetnoise), but overall excellent value for money.

Our first trip to Cape Town and we needed somewhere fairly central for 3 nights, we chose Tintagel based on reviews and price and were not disappointed. Utah, one of the managers, arranged for a transfer from the airport, which worked very well. Our room was a good size, plenty of storage space and a comfortable bed, and situated off...

The Tintagel Guest House is a good location in Cape Town if you prefer a more rural area. The staff is very friendly and helpful finding your way around town, suggesting restaurants and places to visit. You can walk almost everywhere from there or take a near by bus. Parking on the premises is safe. The room we had was...

Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by two friendly staff members, Clark and Utah. They quickly got us signed in and showed us to our lovely rooms. They then proceeded to welcome us to the area, provided us with a welcome coffee/tea/water and asked if we had any questions about the area or needed recommendations for anything in particular. They...
