We made it just in time for our Elephant Walk, after dropping our bags in our room and hearing the trumpeting of elephants. What a thrilling moment! From first driving up to the lodge until we left 2 days later, there was not a single moment when we didn't have anything to do. Our days were filled with activity. We...

We stayed at the lodge and it's a must if you are in the area and have time to stay. The whole experience was so well organised all the staff were friendly and helpful from the reception staff to the elephant handlers. Being able to get up at any time during the night and see what the elephants are 'up...

This is an absolute must if you're in the area. As you drive up to the lodge you see zebras freely roaming and grazing in the compound while the elephants happily graze in a large enclosure, which is where they are kept in the evening to keep them safe. The lodge itself is impeccably maintained with cute elephant ornaments and...

Spent just one night in the "Harry" room, which is one of the two directly overlooking the elephant Boma. Probably lucky it was just one, as my sense of humour about being kept awake most of the night wouldn't have stretched to a second night! The rooms are good, nicely decorated and comfortable. Our bathroom had a very annoying shower...

This was amazing and the work that they conduct is truly wonderful. Geofrey was our tour guide and had so much knowledge to share. The experience was worth it and I truly hope that they will be able to continue rescuing elephants for many years to come.

walk with elephants and stay with them overnight if you want to in amazing accommodation. Pretty reasonable too. Lovely staff. Memorable stuff. It is a bit like sleeping above stables in terms of the natural aroma of the elephants but we just didn't care as this was a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Stayed overnight in Harry's room - it was a wonderful experience being able to watch the elephants at night. The staff were excellent and the elephant walk in the morning was extra special. I would recommend this experience to others without hesitation.

Stayed overnight in Henry's room in the lodge. Was woken up by the awesome noise of the elephants snoring, so spent next two hours sat in the lounge overlooking their sleeping quarters just watching them. Early rise to go with them on their morning walk & get the chance to learn more about each of them.

We stayed 1 night at the Knysna Elephant Park Lodge and it was a magical experience. With your stay you can go on as many elephant walks as you like. With 2 Small children we did 2 on the first day and then the morning walk the next day and each one was a different experience. We got to feed...
