Odd to find a log hotel in Knysna. The strangest zig-zag hallway I have ever seen in a hotel. Where was the fire marshal? The rooms were clean, but old fashioned and the hotel is on a busy street. The bar closes during the afternoon and early at night. Plenty of tour buses call here. You can do better in...

This is a well located hotel, close to the waterfront and the island. Rooms are comfortable, service quite fine good buffet breakfast. Log cabin look is unusual, but not horrible. No real views: I looked over the car park. Location is a big drawcard for a short stay as you can walk to lots of restaurants and to the water.

While traveling with the New Horizons Travel Club throughout South Africa, we stayed at the beautiful Knysna Log-Inn. True to its name, the hotel does look like a high end log cabin with wonderful carved wood staircases and lobby. The front rooms had great street views but were louder than the rooms on the back side that overlooked the pool...

The first thing that strikes you about the log Inn hotel is the name and when you see it, you realise why. It is made virtually entirely from logs and the rooms are a different experience altogether. It is quite decent, slight ly on the smaller side but good for a night. I dont think it was as expensive as...

Really quaint. This hotel has a lot of charm and character. The rooms are bright, clean and airy The entrance is large and airy with lots of exposed beams and stained glass windows The restaurant is large and breakfast selection is great Not sure why it's only open for breakfast, yet it has a bar?? Great shops right out the entrance...

We stayed here for 2 nights on a tour of the garden route. The rooms were a good size and clean. There was a small pool and jacuzzi to relax after long walks in the morning. The hotel is conveniently located near to the waterfront as well as the Main Street for shopping.

We stayed here for two nights as part of a tour. The building is really interesting and the hotel had a homely feel to it. Our room was spacious and the beds comfortable. There was wifi available, but not great in the rooms. It was conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the waterfront & harbour area; but we...

I stayed here as part of a tour and really liked it. The room was big and bed comfortable. The few photos I took didn't do it justice. It is a very short walk from the waterfront and lots of restaurants in the same road.

My favourite place to stay in Knysna. The staff are very helpful & friendly. The rooms are stylishly decorated & comfortable. Great location....walking distance to many restaurants, the waterfront & the mall. Easily accessible with plenty of parking.

This is what a real log inn is supposed to be. A very nice experience. Well designed rooms. They have a pool as well. Goes well with the quaint town of Knysna. Staff is very friendly. Porter services are chargeable, totally safe and secure. Breakfast spread needs to be a bit better. Indian restaurant is walking distance from the Hotel...
