No, just no. Small room with 6 people, way to claustrophobic. Dirty and really old furniture with the smell of birds and animals everywhere. Not a pleasant place to stay in the slightest. Just give it a pass. Place needs a total makeover.

We stayed in the upstairs room, if I stayed there another day I would had developed hayfever from the mouldy smell. Its silly to have so many dogs wondering all over the place. What if some guests had dog allergies. Surely there should be boundaries. Those who stay there permanently or part of the household seemed in a permanent daze....

Stuffy, cramped, a little bit smelly and frilly decor all over the loo's (?). We stayed in a "6 bed dorm" which left a lot to the imagine. The bedding was definitely not clean and was also quite crusty and sneezy. We had one tiny window that opened up to into a kitchen, sooooo... fun. Woke up with a big...

If you are looking for a nice place, this isn't it. We stayed in room 9, a "6 bed dorm" - which was little more than a cupboard. There was no space for us to move or put our bags. Our only window was the size of an A4 paper and opened up into the kitchen. This resulted in an...

Stayed at Travellers Lodge Knysna for 4 days and what a peaceful experience. Good reception and the stay was lovely. Philip, the manager, was a perfect host. The garden is not a big one (not necessary) but you are closed to the city. I recommend this lodge to anyone.

Beautiful little place in Knysna within walking distance from town. Comfortable bed to sleep and friendly service from the management. Helpful and informative! Take a trip and enjoy a cosy spot with friendly people. A Little piece of home away from home.

Not what I was looking for in. Backpackers. The walls are then, the beds squeak, and frankly I felt like I was staying in someone's house, not a backpackers. It looks nothing like the pictures and has no "view" If you are looking for the typical "backpacker" feel don't stay here. Not worth the price. The staff was very friendly...

This backpackers was in a good location close to the town. Staff were friendly and gave help/advice when asked. Our room was in a really noisy spot - right next to the kettle and drink making facilities. Our room was reasonably clean but the showers and other facilities were a little run down and not kept to the best standard....
