We stayed in Knysna on our trip from Cape Town to Durban. Knysna is beautiful and Yellowwood Lodge has lovely views of the lagoon. The breakfast was good and the owner was happy to allow us to sit on the veranda to enjoy the beautiful morning.

We stayed here last month for 2 nights. This guest house is located about a 5 minute drive from the main waterfront area where you will find plenty of restaurants and shops. Our room was very spacious but badly requires modernisation to make it more pleasant. We had a large fan in the room and also a lovely private balcony...

We stayed here 2 nights, the owner has been very helpful with all our requests at arrival and during our stay. Rooms are very nice and clean and the whole place is a well preserved historic building with character. Great location.

This is my second visit to this B&B. The standard is excellent and its positioning just above the main road gives good views over the lagoon . It is also a walking distance to town and a short drive to the Waterfront and Thesen island . Breakfast on the stoep is very good. Will be returning in May for the...

I thoroughly enjoyed my week stay at Yellowwood Lodge which was comfortable, homely and had a touch of historic charm to the building and decor. The breakfasts were delicious and lovely to eat while sitting on the porch smelling the sea air. The kind and sincere hospitality of Ernest was greatly appreciated as was his thoughtfulness. A lovely historic establishment...

For those who love the vintage look and experience, this is the place for you. But for those who travel a lot, I would recommend that you keep searching. The people were nice there, you will not be unnecessarily bothered at all. The place is conveniently close to pretty much everything but away from the hustle of the town. The...

My hubby and I are on a road trip of South Africa and we have stayed in tiny guest houses, boutique hotels, b&bs but have also traveled the world, never in my life have I met a nut case than the owner of yellow wood lodge. Never mind the owner the rooms are truly awful the linen is disgusting, white...

Overall a lovely old house from the outside in a convenient part of town. Lovely deck to have breakfast on...but... Everything inside is very old, tired and very used. Any elderly people or anyone with a case will have a difficulty getting up the stairs. The pillows are old and very lumpy, a spring in the bed stuck into you,...

Sadly Yellowwood lodge didn't live up to our expectations. We arrived at this grand old house but the owner tried to be friendly but came across as aloof. We were taken up a very steep flight of stairs to a dark musty passage and to our room which had an amazing view of the Heads and the Lagoon. The linen...

We stayed for 3 nights at the Yellowwood lodge. It's a nice place to stay in Kysna, close to the center and to the waterfront. The rooms are nice. There's free wifi with good speed. Breakfast is included and the buffet is very nice and varied. You can also order eggs your style, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms,... There's a parking area,...
