I thoroughly enjoyed my week stay at Yellowwood Lodge which was comfortable, homely and had a touch of historic charm to the building and decor. The breakfasts were delicious and lovely to eat while sitting on the porch smelling the sea air. The kind and sincere hospitality of Ernest was greatly appreciated as was his thoughtfulness. A lovely historic establishment...

For those who love the vintage look and experience, this is the place for you. But for those who travel a lot, I would recommend that you keep searching. The people were nice there, you will not be unnecessarily bothered at all. The place is conveniently close to pretty much everything but away from the hustle of the town. The...

My hubby and I are on a road trip of South Africa and we have stayed in tiny guest houses, boutique hotels, b&bs but have also traveled the world, never in my life have I met a nut case than the owner of yellow wood lodge. Never mind the owner the rooms are truly awful the linen is disgusting, white...

Overall a lovely old house from the outside in a convenient part of town. Lovely deck to have breakfast on...but... Everything inside is very old, tired and very used. Any elderly people or anyone with a case will have a difficulty getting up the stairs. The pillows are old and very lumpy, a spring in the bed stuck into you,...

Sadly Yellowwood lodge didn't live up to our expectations. We arrived at this grand old house but the owner tried to be friendly but came across as aloof. We were taken up a very steep flight of stairs to a dark musty passage and to our room which had an amazing view of the Heads and the Lagoon. The linen...

We stayed for 3 nights at the Yellowwood lodge. It's a nice place to stay in Kysna, close to the center and to the waterfront. The rooms are nice. There's free wifi with good speed. Breakfast is included and the buffet is very nice and varied. You can also order eggs your style, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms,... There's a parking area,...

The Yellowwood Guesthouse is a historical quaint place located close to the waterfront attractions, but far enough from the main road to be quiet and peaceful. Our host helped us book a nice boat excursion to the Featherbed reserve and suggested good restaurants to eat. A place we would highly recommend. Alan & France

This place has an amazing host and offers easy access on foot into the city and to the waterfront. The breakfast is really delicious and the rooms are cozy and comfortable. We had a great time for two nights and would stay there anytime again

We stayed at Yellowwood Lodge twice during our holiday and enjoyed both visits. The rooms were both clean and comfortable and the second room was especially charming. The breakfast was good and the proprietor remembered our 'order' even though our bookings were a week apart. There is secure parking which is a bonus.

There are few and far between were affordability, quality and service all jell like it dose at Yellowwood Lodge. What a great stay. How could one improve? For a 3 star B&B I do not think you can. Old quaint and fitting for Knysna was easy to find and close to all attractions. The breakfast was great. The cutlery although...
