We have just returned from an amazing holiday touring south Africa during which time we had the pleasure of stopping a few nights at this luxurious but very homely country house hotel which is located in a stunning setting by the waters edge. On arriving at reception after a long journey we were greeted with genuine warmth by Gregg who...

We are so glad that we got a lagoon facing room with a balcony upstairs as this was the hi-light of the hotel - just glorious at all times of the day and night ... The bedroom (suite) was very large as was the bathroom although we felt for a five star establishment these are in need of a bit...

We stayed here for three nights in February. The hotel is in a beautiful position by the lagoon and has a lot of garden area. There is a reasonable size swimming pool with sun loungers which makes for a pleasant afternoon. The pool is served by lovely helpful staff. From check in onwards all of the staff were extremely helpful....

Excellent world class comfort. Superbe setting We had a suite overlooking the harbour. Wonderful views which changed by the time of day. Watch African birds on the manicured lawns. Relax in one of several pools or the superb bar and peaceful lounges

Loved this hotel. Very relaxed & charming. The views of the lagoon were stunning & the grounds beautiful. We didn't stay for dinner preferring to head into Knysna, but breakfast was excellent, staff were really friendly and the morning car wash an unexpected bonus!
