Beautiful rooms, impeccable service, and a view you can watch all day – what's not to love about Amanzi? Located on the shores of Leisure Isle, Knysna, with uninterrupted views out to the Heads, Amanzi Island Lodge is unbeatable in terms of location and service. I have never stayed anywhere that has felt so relaxed and easygoing, and yet so...

We were in the most expensive room but did not get any sleep. We could clearly hear talking from reception under the room but worse of all we were kept awake with pops and clicks from frogs which we found was coming from frogs in the swimming pool. My husband had to get up and go to find what was...

My wife and I stayed here for 4 days in the Starfish Suite overlooking the lagoon. We had a private, ground level deck. Everything here is excellent including the staff and their great service. There are two buildings as Amanzi bought the B&B next door last year. Where we stayed is the original building and is a bit more traditional,...

We only stayed one night but should have stayed more. This is a beautifully clean and modern guesthouse with a lot of free additional extras to make your stay as good as it can be. The rooms are spacious, classy and well maintained. The social spaces nd dining areas are very well set up and the location on the bay...

We stayed in Amanzi 4 nights, to recover from our hiking trip. Great place, quiet, comfortable and the staff is very, very helpful and friendly. Great view, nice breakfast, cakes for tea. Those cakes could have been better. Swimming pool very, very small, but who cares. The guys with names as Fortune and Promise can bring you to the restaurant of...

We drove into Amanzi, our annual home for a week or so in Knysna, and it had grown over winter! From 7 rooms to 14! The owner had acquired the next door property. Little else had changed at this our favourite Knysna spot on beautiful Leisure Isle. We love our ground floor room, with terrace and garden and a view...

Stayed at Amanzi Lodge for 3 days and can only say it was superb. The position facing the entrance of the lagoon lends itself to spectacular views. The staff were courteous and friendly and helpful. The room was 5 star. Leisure Island is the place to stay when visiting Knysna. The B/B Amanzi provides an excellent breakfast but no restaurant...

This charming guesthouse is amazing. In fact so amazing that we ended up staying for two days in Knysna! The staff are so friendly and welcoming and despite being a guesthouse, you feel like you're in your own home. The house itself is so beautifully decorated with loads of space. Our room was spacious and full of light with a...

What can I say other than that the place sits on an island overlooking the Knysna featherbed and that the staff is nothing short of excellent. The guys are so helpful and are so eager to make your stay perfect. Also worth mentioning, you get bikes and kayaks for free, so if you are up for kayaking and swimming right...
