For starters, I've read the "terrible" reviews and I honestly don't know what was to complain about. From the first second we saw the hostess, she was smiling from ear to ear, eagerly awaiting to make it a perfect stay for us. The little chat during breakfast where she's genuinely interested in your plans, she has very good tips according...

The hotel is certainly in a nice location with fantastic views of the lagoon, but it felt like someone's house - the layout was odd, and parts of it were a little tired. Our room was huge but fairly sparsely furnished, and the bathroom was big and fairly recently refurbished. The public areas were lovely and comfortable, with a great...

Our room was beautiful with a wonderful view over the lagoon. There were some naughty monkeys outside, who apparently cause some problems, so you have to make sure your windows are closed so they don't get in the room. The breakfast buffet was lovely with lots of fresh fruit, meat, cheese and the option of cooked food if you want...

A beautiful manor with exceptional views over the Knysna Lagoon. Do keep in mind that if you want a lagoon facing room you will have to cough up! The back facing rooms are slightly small. Their breakfast spread is rather good though. Also, the back room struggled with the wifi and had no AC.

We stayed there only one night. The place is located in a fantastic area. The view is just amazing. However, the room was ok, not great. The internet didn't work very well. Nevertheless, we paid very little for such a nice area and view.

Stayed here for 2 nights and it was excellent. The room that was given has the lagoon view. The common area is beautiful and spacious. Breakfast options were good and the spread was nice! The staff are all very friendly and warm. I love the place and will recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nice place to...

The rooms are elegantly positioned with that extra class of touch. the management were very accommodating in that they added an extra bed for the kids to make it a family room. incredible views of the Lagoon. The facilities are all that you will expect of a boutique hotel and it is situated...

What a beautiful place to stay. Beautiful rooms and wonderful staff. They went over and above to accommodate us and our two boys. They make each and every guest feel special. They serve the best breakfast off the menu or buffet with fresh fruits, selection of cheeses, fresh juice and coffee. All of this to be enjoyed overlooking the Knysna...

My favourite views of the lagoon and the Knysna heads are courtesy of this B&B. A lovely place to stay - Devine gardens, pool and a delicious braai on our night there. My room was comfortable, but the bathroom could do with modernisation - however everything was done to make us welcome. Highly recommended!
