We stayed here for three nights, moving rooms after the first night (Internet booking quirk - outside of our control). It is a spacious, comfortable location on Knysna Lagoon, with airy rooms, comfortable beds and lovely views. Hosts Marion and Gavin are eager to please and do go to great lengths to make your stay a good one (Marion memorably...

This is a very stylish B&B a few kilometres out of Knysna. It is situated in a great location overlooking the wetlands and you can sometimes see birds (cranes etc) feeding in the long grass. The room (we had room 2) was very stylish, quiet and comfortable and very new looking. The room (and indeed the whole house) was spotless....

We stumbled across this wonderful B&B, and are so happy we did. The hosts, Marion and Gavin, are so helpful - the breakfast was superb, the rooms were huge, spotlessly clean and bright, and most have a view of the lake. We chose to stay an extra night becuase it was so lovely there. If you are looking for nightime...

I had a very comfortable and relaxing stay at the Waterfront Lodge. I booked the honeymoon suite and it had a balcony with a fantastic view, amazing jacuzzi and comfy bed. Marion was a very warm host and I was particularly impressed with her professionalism and integrity as a manager and host when I had experienced the complete opposite during...

We stayed at the Waterfront Lodge to visit the Simola Hillclimb. What a stunning place. Situated next to the Lagoon, with great communal amenities, a stunning pool and a cosy honesty bar, we were in paradise. Tastefully decorated, big bedrooms, a caring Marion looking after all our needs and master chef Gavin, whose tasty breakfasts we will not forget. Gavin...

A fantastic stay and well looked after. Marion fusses after you just like your Auntie and Gavin is a wealth of local knowledge and cooks a mean breakfast. If you like birding there are sunbirds at the feeders in the garden and many others including pied kingfishers in the lagoon at the back. A great base for seeing this wonderful...

Every thing we read about this Bed and Breakfast on Trip Advisor was true, the breakfast was a delight, our room was excellent, very clean, spacious and well appointed and the owner was particularly welcoming and helpful in every way. From our bedroom we overlooked an estuary which almost reached the landscaped back garden, a number of the native birds...

Everything about this visit was fantastic. We were upgraded free of charge to a lagoon-facing room, had a superb breakfast and had wonderful conversations with the owners. We took advantage of a free shuttle service between the lodge and a waterfront restaurant called Sirocco where we had a delicious ostrich steak. The breakfast at the lodge was made to order...
