I had the pleasure of staying at the resort over a weekend and also stayed in the Crowned Eagle room. Now the Crowned Eagle is most definitely a room with the most amazing views. This resort over all has the most amazing views of beach, bush and mountain The staff is extremely friendly and very accommodating. This is really a...

We stayed here for 4 nights in August in one of the 15 or so cottages they have. Never been to SA in the winter before so didn't quite know what it would be like. I think the cottage would have benefited from a wood burning stove, rather than an open fire, to help take the chill off a bit....

I was here three years ago and had a great time. I was expecting they would have bettered the Internet Connection at this time, but no. Not all rooms had heaters. Blankets really dont cut it during winter. I still keep a warm souvenir of the fireplaces though, and the dog.. Peanuts

I stayed at Monkey Valley Resort 17-21 Aug 2016 with 5 of my lady friends. We stayed in the Leopard Lodge self catering unit. The unit was spacious and clean, with breathtaking views of Noordhoek and beach. The staff were professional, friendly and very helpful. Had supper in the restaurant, it was delicious and once again the service was excellent.

We were welcomed and a friendly portiere carried our bags to our room. Check-in went smoothly. The room was neat. I think the rooms need a bit of TLC though. Although the place has a rustic feel since it is situated in the mountains, it still needs a bit of maintenance. All in all though we had a fantastic stay....

We went here for a weekend with another couple. It is a lovely resort. Breakfast was included in our room rate. The staff was very helpful and friendly at reception when we checked in. We made a reservation earlier the week at their Thorfynn's restaurant for the Friday evening when we get there. It was a very cold weekend so...

We've visited Monkey Valley a couple of times in the past for Sunday lunch. Although I feel that you pay a lot for what you get and the service is typically slow, the setting and views sort of balance the experience. A friend of mine attended a wedding reception there over the weekend, as companion to a wedding guest. Apparently...

Monkey Valley is in a residential area and a lot of care has to be taken to ensure that the noise levels, particularly the base note of the music, do not disturb the sourounding residence. If this is not adheard to we could be forbidden to have music at any future events. Monkey Valley has been voted as one of...

This resort gets ten out of ten for a nearby beach that gives a 2 hour walking opportunity, for a restaurant with a great menu and excellently presented meals, a view from most lodges, (we were in Leopard Lodge) that was as they say, to die for and a staff that were well trained and pleasant to deal with. Hand-painted...

We had been recommended to try the Monkey Valley Resort Restaurant and our first impressions were very good, as the outdoor deck was beautifully positioned to look out over the Noordhoek beach and to watch the sunsets. As a strong breeze blew up we requested a move inside and this was quickly done. However, from that stage things started to...

Stunning Beach views. Log fires with wood provided. Spacious. Winter Special prices. A getaway in Cape Town that was a spit away from home but made us feel that we had traveled all the way up the Garden Route. What more could we want for my mom's 80th birthday weekend. In fact the only hindrance was that we had planned...
