Having stayed here a number of times over the years the lodge just keeps getting better and better. This is a B & B with a lot of extras, pool, wonderful sunset views from your own personal lodge veranda and the food is fabulous. There is a well stocked bar but best of all a wonderful host, Len, who just...

Len was great, the cat was enormous, service was super and room with large bath and shower were exactly what we needed after a long drive over the top of Bavianskloof from Addo. Take advantage of the great food Len's team cook up in the evening if you have the option. The Ostrich steak was possibly the best piece of...

We arrived at Thabile Lodge hot and dusty – it’s a bit of a bumpy gravel drive to get there – and Len greeted us with beer and wine on a shady verandah overlooking one of the best views of our entire trip. Surrounded by his dogs and a cat the size of a small family car we just sat...

Thabile Lodge was a real highlight of our trip through South Africa. A remote place in the countryside, so peaceful, with a host and his team like a family; Len, Henny and Ma Gertraud made us so welcome that we did not want to leave. Our lodge was beautiful and spacious and private, but we preferred to join the good...

When we arrived on a hot afternoon, our host Len was waiting for us in the pool as he was trying to cool down and immediately offered us a cool beer. He's a very charming and welcoming host and immediately made us feel at home. The main house if full of funny animals including the fattest cat I've ever seen....

What a great find..... My wife and I recently stayed at Thabile Lodge for one night. The rooms in the cottage were spotless and well appointed. Views of the mountains/hills at sunset are gorgeous. You must have the evening meal here. You will not be disappointed. Although breakfast is included, we regrettably left the following morning at 4:45 to see...

Traveling trough South Africa, we found Thabile Lodge by coïnsidence. Our host, Len is the kind of man who has the great ability to let you feel welcome and make yourself at home ! We planned to stay 2 nights, but soon after arriving, we decided to book an extra night. Huge clean rooms, nice beds, hot water power shower,...

We spent 2 nights in the lodge and we loved every minute of it. You are welcomed by Len (who owns the place), Ben and Annabelle (two adorable Bassett hounds), Garfield (the biggest cat you have ever seen), a couple of other dogs ..... it feels like a private house. The accommodation is spacious and clean, the power shower is...

This is a very nice well kept guest house. We even had dinner there most of the nights and it was wonderful. The host Len is a wonderful person and knows how to get the guests to interact and get to know each other. Really like my stay there.
