We had a wonderful stay at the Caledon Villa. Beautiful historical building. Very nice host, who took the time to provide us with a tailored advice for our trips. Excellent breakfast with beautiful garden view. Nicely located near botanical garden and historical city center.

Is it possible for a place to run too smoothly ? Our stay was excellent, service great and breakfast was good. Perhaps its a function of the elderly Germanic guests who demand precision, but I just felt the guest house lacked soul. There was hardly a murmur at the well-frequented and pristine pool, breakfast was eaten in total silence and...

Friendly host and lovely swimming pool and gardens. Very old fashioned hotel which we didn't really grasp from the reviews but probably our fault. Waited 20 mins for a breakfast which was average - everything ok except the eggs which had been poached to within an inch of their lives. Air con was a small machine with an extract out...

Welcoming hosts from the minute you arrive. Secure parking, great breakfast. Swimming pool to cool down in and walking distance to restaurants. We were in Rose Room - nice size with big bathroom. Would recommend

All was very nice. The personalised treatment, excellent breakfast and accommodation. The villa is part of South Africa''s history. The garden is beautiful with a swimming pool and private parking. Definitely a place to come back. The only thing they can improve is a free Internet service (more MB, especially for people without SA telephone service ).

This was a second visit and Johan was quick to find our previous visit 5 years previous. We had the excellent Sienna room this time which is quite well equipped to do your own catering. As it was xmas time quite a lot of restaurants etc were closed so we needed to do our own thing . Luckily the Stellenbosch...

The Nouveou suite is breathtaking. There is absolutely no reason to leave your suite. I absolutely enjoyed my stay here. The staff are so friendly, the owner makes a point of making you feel welcome, knowing each guest by name. The grounds and breakfast was really to die for. I will definitely go back, with my family this time!

Our stay at Caledon Villa was very pleasant. Our host gave us a warm welcome and settled us in to our accommodation. Caledon Villa itself is full of history and took us back in time. There are so many different details to take in. We took a swim in the pristine swimming pool, very nice and refreshing! As we were...

Highest praise for Caledon Villa. Every aspect is topnotch: booking, special requests, authentic experience, beautiful furnishings, quality linen, breakfast, friendly & efficient service, and that special personal touch. The location is also great: very close to the town centre, shops and restaurants, and a block away from the tranquil botanical gardens.
