This Hotel has amazing views and is central for lots of other sights and wine tasting. The food is fantastic and the staff are kind, friendly and helpful. It is very tranquil, relaxing and dreams are made there. Room 40 was spacious with views to die for.

We stayed in the manor house (Room 5) - room was great - what one would expect from a hotel - hairdryer, tv etc - The view I feel of the valley and mountains beyond could be made for accessible by opening up the garden a little and I feel a revamp of the rather tired-looking paved areas and garden...

Dear KarenB Many thanks for your feedback. The views form our hotel are one of our unique selling points. The gardens were cut back in spring and will be done again shortly as we head into autumn. But I agree with the overgrown sections and we will certainly get this sorted out. Hoping to see you back in the Western...

We stayed at the Devon Manor for two nights in January as part of our Cape visit and were very sorry to leave! We loved everything about Devon Manor; the impeccable service, the attention to detail, very spacious and luxurious suites (we booked a package deal and stayed in one of the Vineyard Luxury rooms), large pool set in a...

A really stunning location with good food. The room is very clean and very comfortable. Their overall service is a bit slow and I find some elements in the room a bit dated. We stayed in a jnr suite and I would have loved a double basin- it was a bit difficult with a baby to manage. The food at...

Set on a quiet hillside above it's own vineyard this is a really good hotel. Very efficient and friendly staff, well-appointed rooms and good food, small pool set in the trees on a lower terrace and a very pleasant patio with good views over the valley below. You can eat on the patio and in the early evening a good...

Our stay was for just the one night, but the service and food were excellent. The location in amongst the vineyards is amazingly relaxing and the room was perfect. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxed place to center their vacation on.

Hadn't stayed in Stellenbosch before but will definitely stay here again after our de-stress break to South Africa. If you want tranquility, amazing views, delicious food, stunning wines, clean and very comfortable rooms, friendly welcoming knowledgeable staff - then I suggest you stay here! But leave room for me, I'm definitely coming back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Hotel and would highly recommend booking an upper grade room. Bathrooms are outstanding. Breakfasts with scones and strawberries and cream, excellent. The hotel is unpretentious but certainly is well situated and charmingly placed for a stay in the vineyards.
