We visited last December before Christmas and the experience was perfect! The room was clean and we were accommodated nicely by the staff. Anthony, one of the room attendants was kind enough to assist us in the lift since we were with my 2 yr old super naughty son. He also immediately refilled the water dispenser when asked. Overall stay was superb! More power!

Our visit to Philippines was spent mostly outside the hotel due to unexpected death in the family. However it is great to know that after a long day, our room was made up for a restful night. We appreciated the notes from the housekeepers and sometimes even towel animals. Every night we arrived with fresh towels replenished, new robs provided, ac set in a comfortable temp, and bed turned over for an inviting slumber.

I had a not-so-great time staying in this hotel. I stayed there for more than a month. Work related purposes. At first, I was so excited as this is a 5-star hotel and they have a big bed, hot shower, cabled TV and a nice view from the 9th floor. On my first night, I noticed that the fridge is not working so they replaced it with a working one. Then one day, the bidet broke without me using it. So they replaced that too.I was informed that its normal due to the water pressure from the top floor. I didn’t imagine that their wifi really sucks in there as it keeps disconnecting. One time I had a make up room service and I noticed some coffee stain on 1 of the saucer. I'm sure that’s not from me as I don't use saucers in there. I'm afraid that it might have some viruses on it as you know, covid19 is still out. I like how big their bed is but sheets doesn’t smell good. Including the bath robe and bath towel. They stink. I like that they keep checking on me to see if there’s any issues with the stay, however if you tell them that there’s an issue then they will stop calling you. I have tried their laundry service and clothes doesn’t smell any detergent. They usually forgot to wipe out clean the tables, replenish the bathroom amenities and the coffee amenities. Some of their food is also spoiled and one time 1 of my team mate ordered a veggie wrap and was surprised that it has a crawling worm on it. I really liked this hotel but there's still more room for improvement.

Checked in on 1/1/2020, the hotel looked great ! We checked in at 5:05pm but asked to wait for another 40 min. Luckily the receptionist tried hard to get us a room in 15 min. (Room 2002)We requested two beds no upgrade because of it! Also the request of room in the middle of floor ended up in the end of the block next to the Fire exit. Disappointed! The lobby bar was slow! The server cleaned the table one after one . We waited for 20 min and finally drawn a waitress attention. It took us another 20 min for serving 4 cups of coffee and two ice creams ! Only 1 table was occupied at the same time! However, on 1/2 morning we went to the lobby cafe/bar for a cup of coffee we got served right the way! The room was clean and tidy with a firm and comfrey bed! The size is reasonable and spacious! The shower is half door which I hate the most! The shower wasn’t strong and just hot enough .My wife complained it wasn’t hot enough! The sink was slow . Only a few face tissue paper left in the rusty and old container! The location is great with 10 min walk to the Fashionwalk and another 5 min to Landmark! Convenient! It’s a surplus! The pool was full of children since it’s a holiday for family traveling! Overall it’s a nice hotel to stay!

The rooms were musty. The floor carpet is old, dusty and dirty. The room aircon blowing musty air. In room delivered food was cold or left over foods. Check and check out counter, only 1 staff is working. Checking out needs to wait longer time. Recommendations: Remove or replace old, dirty and dusty floor carpet. Clean and sanitize room aircon

Few positives, much more negatives. The room was very comfortable and cool, the bed is soft and the water pressure is high. I was allowed a late check out. That's probably all the positive things I could say. My stay was mired with problems, delays, and general unsatisfactory experience.
I found 2 cockroaches in the bathroom wandering around my personal toiletries (toothbrush, hair brush, skincare). Request from housekeeping took 1 hour to get to the room. The pool was so overcrowded. Breakfast food was so cold it could've been cooked hours before service. There was no cheese ensamada in the bread spread. Check out line was too long.

I think the hotel is well located and has all amenities for both a business and leisure stay. The in room dining experience can certainly be improved as there are only two veg options and for all clients staying for more than 2 days it becomes extremely repeatitve.
On the environment side of things, the hotel needs to really show a real commitment and action planning. Replacing plastic bottle with water dispenser options on each floor is very welcome initiative but the rest of the measures leave less to be desired off. To cite few examples: - The rooms ACs are continuously kept on by housekeeping staff when the guests are not even in. The toothbrushes are removed even after putting notes to not remove them. The towels are too often replaced despite clear instructions for not doing so. The food buffets are often loaded with food and wonder if any of the remaining food is used in good way. Staff training is key to ensure your environment policy gets implemented. The hotel is accessible for wheel chair users but the safety and security team needs to work on the evacuation briefings, particularly when they have meetings and conferences. We were told that there is a evacuation team that will help in case of emergency but the team needs to explain to the person on the detailed procedure. transfers through evacuation chairs are not that straight forward and this can be risky for both the person using the chair and the evacuation team. I do hope that the management takes this feedback constructively and we act collectively to ensure that our actions are aligned with environmental policies. Look forward to some steps taken when I visit next.

My wife stayed one night with her Manila based mother. She paid a deposit from Australia before taking the trip with an amount of apex $145 AUD to be paid on arrival. She paid that amount and stayed the night. Upon checking her DEBIT card (not credit card) the next day she found that the hotel had double charged her. She returned to Australia the next day and called to have the charge reversed only to be told that the money could not be refunded until the end of the month (3 weeks away). Another call produced a reply that the money had been refunded -that was 2 weeks ago. More emails to be finally told that they were checking with their bank ???? Will never stay there again so my message is make sure when you pay that you immediately check your bank account if you decide to stay there. Have previously stayed a number of times at Acacia Hotel without any issues.

Arrived 5PM on our check in date. Waited for less than 30 mins to be given a key. Check in time is supposedly 3PM but despite arriving 2 hours after check in time we still had to wait. A couple ahead of me checking in was complaining since they arrived exactly 3PM and their rooms are still not ready. Clearly the hotel is understaff. Parking was a breeze, no issue there and mostly parked right in front of the entrance. Breakfast food is superb. Only 2 things i hate. Signal, though the area is known to have poor coverage with globe so not really something to blame the hotel for. They do have wifi however its not as reliable as we would want which is ofcourse depending on the customer’s needs. Check out was a breeze. Called the hotel august 4 around 7pm to check if we left a phone adaptor. Receptionist did confirm they found the adaptor and asked me when will i get it and what time. I told her tomorrow before lunch. Arrived at the hotel to claim the item we forgot August 5 around 11:20 AM. Its been more than an hour since i got here im still waiting for the item. Then one of the front desk associate approached me to advise they found the item but its for a different room so basically they cannot give it to me which i understand. What i do not understand is the poor communication they have within the hotel. Housekeeping and front desk should always be in sync as miscommunication between this two department is crucial to every guest experience. Disappointed as this is crimson and not some red room hotel
