Location was just a corner away from the city center market / shopping area. Mix of cheap to nicer restaurants are within 5 min. walk. The hotel is clean and well maintained. City was safe and without any concern for safety walking around as any place in Europe. Con: At night, they have a karaoke or music event that runs...

If you are looking for a beautiful hotel with an historic vibe, the Liwan is for you. Although the location is not attractive (narrow street with lots of construction), the staff was very helpful and the rooms were comfortable.

Some windows that look down to the restaurant area. Clean old fashion rooms....

A former embassy building, the Liwan Hotel is a good choice for those seeking a place reminiscent of the bourgeois splendor of Hatay or simply a clean, comfortable and friendly place with great staff. The large and pleasant breakfast room is a pleasant inner courtyard, and the breakfast selection is excellent. We had easy WIFI access as well as valet...
