It's a good choice if you have to stay a couple of nights in BA. Very good location. Just a couple of blocks from the seaport, downtown and Puerto Madero. The surroundings are not too safe to walk at night tough. The building it's quite old, but well restored. The rooms feel a little bit cramped. Decent service and friendly...

I stay there for a day. That was enough....Location is very convenient in general but the street is narrow and dark, and entrance tiny... Like a double door width... Elevator like a single door width like these old cast iron grid door elevators from middle XX century... Rooms are tiny and basic but decently kept... Bedsheets/pillows are old... Personnel friendly and...

This is one of the worst hotels we have encountered. The first room we were offered was shabby and without toiletries. "Upgraded" after complaint to a larger quieter room we found that to obtain water hot enough to shave or shower with we had to wait 15 minutes (timed!)with the tap running. Breakfast was basic to say the least. The desk staff...

There isn't much to say about this pretty average hotel. We stayed a couple of nights in a medium-sized room, bathroom was ok - the carpet looked filthy but it wasn't smelly. It's well isolated and seldom you can hear the city noise. There was a constant noise coming from the outside though, seemed like an air compressor. After a...

Stayed in this hotel for three nights. Bedroom was fine but the hotel itself has no lobby to speak of. Breakfasts are very basic and breakfast staff do not speak English. Location is good but would not stay here again.

It is a simple hotel, nothing fancy but this is very well located, close to all facilities, shops and places to visit in the city of Buenos Aires. The staff was just ok. nothing that impresses me or people in my group. Definitely a hotel to stay a day or two. But the location is what stands out here.

The Monarca welcomes you with what’s possibly Argentinas smallest lobby, so be sure to not be the last of a bus load entering. In spite of its small size it offers a welcoming atmosphere, and a service minded staff which are some of very few English speaking people you’ll meet in BA. The rooms are average sized, with good standard...

The location is very good, near the subway and walking distance to Puerto Madero restaurants and most of the touristic spots. The hotel is not big and the reception is small but the room was very comfortable and has a bathtub but there is no view at all. The breakfast is fair and the hotel receptionists are nice and this...

“We had a bedroom in the front of the hotel were you could here some traffic, although it was not an issue. If you are returning home from BA & are unsure of the weight in your suitcase. There is a large & very friendly Chemist just round the corner that will allow you to weigh your suitcase on there scales free of charge, very handy.”
