We just returned from a 3 night stay at this charming boutique hotel. The room was a little small but very cozy and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. We enjoyed having wine on the terrace. Service was great. The hotel is in a quite neighborhood. The stained glass dome is gorgeous. The staff was very helpful and...

Browsing through the hotels and reviews I thought that the Magnolia Hotel deserved a try given the reviews and photographs. I am delighted to say that it lived up to every claim of being excellent. The hotel is a beautifully restored typical 'old house' in the Palermo area, nothing has been spared in terms of quality, cleanliness and service. The...

My husband and I booked our 8-night stay at this hotel on the basis of the positive reviews on this site. Needless to say, this hotel deserves all of the excellent reviews that it has received, having managed to exceed our (very high!) expectations. The hotel itself is beautiful, and is located in a relatively quiet street but is very...

Words truly cannot express the experience I had staying at the Magnolia. From the moment I arrived (with no bags thanks to Air Canada) the staff literally bent over backwards to calm my nerves and assure me I was in good hands and I would enjoy my time in BsAs. This place is just beautiful, inside and out. A wonderful...

Stayed at the Magnolia for 5 days in September 2012. Being a frequent visitor in BsAs, I can confirm that the great reviews are justified. The location, atmosphere, service and the team are wonderful. Will definitely come back.

I went back to Magnolia hotel for a long weekend. My first time there, was a few years ago when they had recently opened and I found it extremely pampering with a comfort elegance to it. I must confess that this time, I was curious and I checked first with tripadvisor. So when I say that it was raked number...

I had the best stay at this very convenient and lovely hotel. I am a global traveler and this was one of the most charming hotels that I have ever stayed in. It is not oppulent or garish just classy and simply elegant and chic. I fell ill while I was there and the staff went out of their way...

A great hotel that combined professionalism and style with genuine warmth and friendliness. The staff gave us some excellent restaurant tips and much help with airport transfers, taxis and tourist attractions. From the first e-mail to the last glass of wine we felt welcomed and looked-after. Combined with lovely rooms, a great location and a fascinating city it was a...

This hotel is a renovated house so it still feels as if you are staying at someones home. The staff is really helpful, specially the owner. The location is great because its close to Palermo where all the restaurants and shops are, but its in a quiet road. The rooms are big as well as the bathroom. If you go...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
