We stayed here for a transit night. The front desk woman was friendly and recommended a few restaurants. She was nice enough to even make a few calls to make sure places were open. The rooms were well appointed (a little more traditional than modern but nice nonetheless). We had a room on the third floor and it was a...

Lovely small hotel in a decent area of Buenos Aries. Staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful, breakfast was very good, free tea & coffee throughout the day, service was faultless, free internet, small pool, sauna, whirlpool, comfortable lounge area, bar, clean bedroom & bathroom, very relaxing. Handy for the Metro, plenty of bars and restaurants within 5-10 minute walk, what...

The Duque is absolutely deserving of the hype. We stayed here 2 nights at the end of a long trip and were very pleased with the experience. The staff are warm, welcoming and extremely helpful in every regard. We arrived early and they were more than happy to hold our bags until our room was ready, and even invited us...

What a gem. They care. Clinically clean. Nothing is too difficult for them. Restaurant tips were spot on and directions to sightseeing attractions were Also. They speak really good English and were always happy to write out Spanish instructions to help with our needs with non english speakers.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights over Christmas 2012. We loved it. Customer service is the key to this hotel--the staff was not only friendly but knew everything about us and what we had done, had planned, wanted, etc. Extremely accommodating and helpful. Great recommendations for places to eat and places to go (not so easy when...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
