We only had two nights to stay at the Sissi Haz, but could not have asked for a better experience. The facility is very well maintained with lots of beautiful wood. The owners, Silvia and Lorenzo, are so friendly and interesting, although they only speak a few words of English. If you speak Spanish, you will certainly be charmed by...

If you're staying in the Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires, this very friendly boutique hotel fit our needs perfectly. The hotel is managed by the owners (Lorenzo), who readily provided plenty of advice about local restaurants and things to do/see. Paula was great help both on the ground and via email. The rooms are large with very efficient air conditioning...

I stayed there with my wife and we would stay there again in a heartbeat. Great location in Palermo. Very "fun" (and kind of random) architecture as it looks like a Swiss lodge. Compared to other B&B's, you can tell they spent time with quality material making the rooms...finished wooden beams for the ceiling, interest doors, stone..not cookie cutter at...

Very friendly boutique hotel - managed at all times by the owners who are more than happy to provide plenty of advice about local restaurants etc. The rooms are large with efficient a/c, nice tv and shutters on the windows which keep out any traffic noise. Breakfasts are simple but generous and a very efficient and inexpensive laundry service is...

Lorenzo, Sylvia, Sylvina, and Paula made our stay at Sissi Haz a terrific experience. Small, family-run, quiet and very comfortable oasis in a very lively neighborhood of BA. The rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished. Breakfast served in your room or in the patio. They gave us many recommendations for restaurants, transportation, sightseeing. My boyfriend has a recent knee operation...

What an amazing place to stay, this lived up to our expectations and more. One of the best boutique hotels we have stayed in recently. Rooms are large, clean and well equipped, the decoration and furnishing show quality and are tasteful. The stain-glass windows and wooden shutters add character (and ensure a totally dark and quiet nights sleep). Bathroom is...

After staying a variety of different lodging options throughout Argentina, this boutique hotel is by far my favorite place to stay. I only wish I had found it earlier and had time to stay there longer. Location of the neighborhood is perfect at the heart of Palermo Soho - safe, convenient, vibrant atmosphere and full of dining / shopping options....

We spent 4 nights at Sissi Haz with my wife and two friends. This small family run boutique hotel is the friendliest place I ever stayed. Silvia and Lorenzo don’t speak English very well, but they managed to do more than their very best to make sure our stay would be great. They have so much to give, so it...

You will be asking yourself this very question, because mi esposa y yo were so relaxed and having such a good time at Sissi Haz that we forgot to go home (missed our flight) and left a day later! After staying at a large hotel in Buenos Aires, we were pleasantly surprised by the hospitable staff of this aesthetically pleasing...

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay, even though it was just for one night, our last in BA. The room was very large, with A/C and a ceiling fan. It was probably the best sleep during my entire two weeks in Argentina. The people were so nice and accommodating/helpful. It was also a nice touch to have breakfast...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
