I spent 4 nights at Eco Pampa Hostel and I thought it was excellent value for money. The place was clean (beds were made daily) and the people were helpful. It is in a great location to explore the Palermo neighbourhood. Excellent security as well.

This hostel is very nice, clean and has everything you need there or nearby. Hostel rooms are not so big, but roof is high and every room has its own bathroom. No Aircon, but fans in the ceiling (ours made a lot of noise, but I guess thats fixable). Nearby you find Don Julio, great restaurant, gym, cafes and bars...

I paid about 90pesos per night on weeknights and 96 on weekends in the 8-person mixed bedroom. I requested that room because I was staying for a whole MONTH and there are only 2 non-private rooms with air conditioning (room 3 and room 4). Air conditioning is turned on only from 10pm-10am, which by the end wasn't working for me...

Don't go there. Extremely unhelpful staff who looked at me as if I was dirt throughout, and seemed entirely uninterested throughout, while the unclean, lumpy mattress and near-constant noise ensured there was no chance of a decent night's sleep.

Very nice hostel. Great breakfast with home made bread. Booked last minute and they were really friendly when we turned up. private bathroom, but not in your room, so that was not ideal, but apart from that good location etc.

We liked the staff at this hostel, they were very friendly and eager to assist. We booked a private room with own bathroom for 5 nights, when we saw the room it was just too small for us, seemed larger online. Not even a chair to sit on or a place for a laptop. Big sign in the bathroom. You...

Well located in the heart of Palermo, the hostel has a very friendly staff and comfortable accomadations. Surrond the hostel you will find the best clubs and restaurants in town. Twenty minutes walking and you will be in the Outlet's street where you will find the best bargains. Inexpensive and woth the money.

I always think the staff can make or break a hostel and the staff at Eco Pampa were excellent, they directed us to local restaurants, evenings out and day trips with no pressure to book things through them. The rooms were cleaned every day and were comfortable. Lovely location, felt very safe staying here.

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
