We visited in November before full tourist season and enjoyed off-season rates and the high value of $USD. Room was suite with 2 firm queen size beds, kitchenette, TV and a ceramic finished bath with spectacular shower and bidet! Nice breakfast buffet (eggs, sausages, ham, cheese, breads, cereal, fruits) was included in our room tariff. Reception and watchman seemingly at... More

Tucked in a lane would not have thought there was such a beautiful Hotel. Huge rooms, well equipped, easy access, centrally located, the Hotel has it all that any traveller looks for. In house restaurant and several eating joints literally surrounding the place. Highly recommended

My wife and I stayed at Icaro twice during our trip to Argentina. The first was for 4 nights and the 2nd was for 3 nights. In between those 2 stays, we left our luggage with the hotel as we took a short trip to Iguazu. In both instances, the check-in was fast and efficient. The reception was very business-like... More

The hotel is located in central Buenos Aires which makes it easier to go anywhere and the area is safe. Clean and neat. The staffs are nice and their hospitality was great. The shower was amazing wish I had it with me back home. The bed is huge and comfortable with extra blanket and pillow.

Icaro Suites meets its desire to provide a great accommodation experience in South America. The rooms are very spacious. The hotel is very clean and has nice art work. Everything is quite modern. Wifi worked excellent my entire stay. Staff is friendly/helpful. Location is centralized - less than 5min walk to 4 metro stations or 10min walk to Ave 9... More

We loved our stay at Icaro Suites. The staff was very helpful and polite. After two weeks of bread for breakfast, it was great to have a breakfast with eggs, sausage, fruit....as well as great bread. The hotel which is very clean and safe is situated in a street that is run down and dirty. Location: even though the plaza 'congreso' area is not that lively at night and a bit creepy because of the homeless, this hotel is a jewel in a wonderful street full of tasty restaurants (Calle Montevideo) and crossing the super lively avenida Corriente. Very good. If you have a car the hotel has an agreement with a parking facility a block and a half away very convenient. A pity the breakfast is good but not excellente since the hotel strategic alliance with Nucha has ended

Staying in San Nicolas

Neighbourhood Profile
San Nicolas
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down streets lined with office buildings and banks. The financial district is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours. After dark, the hubbub and migrates to Corrientes Ave., where theatre lovers might start their evening at a play and end it in one of the many traditional pizzerias nearby.
