We stayed here for only one night after completing a cruise. The hotel is only 15 minutes from the cruise terminal, 10 minutes from the main domestic airport (which also has some international connections) and just around the corner from Recoleta cemetary in a pleasant, safe part of town reminiscent of a slightly rundown version of Paris. We paid extra...

I and friends stayed at this hotel as part of a tour of South America. It is a lovely, elegant hotel. Rooms/beds comfortable and clean. Great buffet breakfast with amazing cakes and tarts for breakfast! Along with great variety of fresh fruit, jams, cheeses, cold meat, hot items, breads. The freshly-made brioche a highlight. We all liked the self-serve urns...

I chose this hotel for it's location in combination with its price, and I got exactly what I expected. I spent no less than 11 nights in this hotel, of which 7 nights in a standard room and 4 nights in a junior suite. The suite gives more space and is worth the extra buck. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is...

I stayed here one night because my hotel had over booked. So I was particularily pleasantly surprized and happy to be at the intersur. The lobby and public areas have a very nice upscale feel. The breakfast was excellent with lots of variety. The room was a little plain, and the bed was a little hard, but the toiletries and...

The hotel is located a short 3 block walk to the cemetery, the Bellas Artes Museum, and the hop-on bus depot. Breakfast, included in the room price, was great. LOTS of choices: fresh fruits, breads, eggs, bacon, crepes and more in a lovely room. I liked the hot milk to add to my coffee. A nice touch. Our executive room,...

Very good location in one of the best neighborhoods in BA, rooms reminded me of a Paris hotel, although a bit dated. Staff was very helpful, room quite nice, breakfast plentyful and more than sufficient. Best of all the price very reasonable for the area and quality. BA is a strikingly beautiful city with fabulous older architecture, you can sense...

The rooms are smaller than one would expect, Now one must realise where they are coming from to know if they are to stay at this particular hotel. If you have large bags stay away however if the city is the only place you are visiting then go ahead, it has a great Italian Restaurant that makes the best risotto,...

This hotel is in a great location and the price is fair but the rooms are rather tired and have many defects, including dents in walls and scratches everywhere. The toiletries provided at of high standard and the breakfast is very good. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful and professional, although the door security personnel were rather off putting. As...

Visiting as part of a Wine Tour, and visit to Buenos Aires to round up a very informative tour of the Wineries in Argentina and Chile... Room quite small, bathroom dated, and stain on the carpet... Great...

Neighbourhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
