The hotel is located in one of the best areas of Buenos Aires. It's walking distance from gat sightseeing, shopping and restaurants. The hotel itself is very nice, and the breakfast included in the price is excellent.
A friend who spends a lot of time in Argentina recommended the Intersur Recoleta. It’s interesting because when I did a search on tripadvisor for hotels in the Recoleta neighborhood this hotel didn’t show up. Had it not been for our friend, we never would...More
Very helpful, English speaking staff. Plenty of bus services in front of the hotel. Nice neighbourhood - we felt safe walking around at night and there are restaurants close by. There is also a grocery and a laundromat within a couple of minutes walk. It...More
The hotel is in a good Recoleta location - safe and central. The Jr. Suite we had was very nice - good size. The hotel could use some updating and paint and carpets although the lobby is very nice. The staff is very young and...More

Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll
also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
