The location of mio is perfect, just a few meters away from Plaza Francia but the real cherry on the cake are the rooms, which are just perfect, large and classy. Service is great and breakfast very good. I will definitely be back here! well done!

Very good location. Room very big (Júnior suite) and clean. Helpfull staff. Breakfast is ok (could be improved with natural fruit juices and options for celiacs). Close to the cemitary La. Recoleta and restaurantes.

The room had a gorgeous solid wood bathtub, fresh flowers and candies by the bed-a nice touch to an already well-appointed room. Concierge were friendly and helpful, and spoke decent English. Great location, quiet, yet close to many things.

Very Good hotel, nice decoration, perfect location near to Recoleta and very nice rooms. Dont forget valuable objects in the room because those may be stolen. Its unaccceptable the lack of securty, in fact is no security people at the hotel.

Except the time spent in tha hallway before getting my room , this hotel is a very comfortable and peaceful place in that city. The intimicy and the size makes the guests feeling like the space is theirs. Enjoyed the general design of the rooms and the public space. Breakfast is generous. Employees are smiling and efficient. My wife and I stayed at the hotel for an overnight stay on March 4, 2017 prior to our South American cruise. We arrived transportation with the hotel to meet us at the airport as well as to transfer us to the cruise terminal. Our driver met us promptly upon our clearing of Customs. Our room was not ready upon...

We needed a well located hotel for a one night stay before boarding our cruise ship. I found the Mio online, compared it to others in the area with similar prices and decided to give it a try. We looked for a senior rate but it didn't fit in their on line registration so I sent them an email and...

Very nice small hotel in the Recoleta district. Large and interesting room with a wooden bathtub! Very good staff and service. Great restaurants nearby as well as good shopping. Would definitely recommend this hotel for this area. Others very expensive.

As a touring musician I have decades of experience in international hotel stays. Mio Buenos Aires more than exceeded my expectations with lovely style and a wonderful staff that was both extremely friendly and helpful while also being discreet and always respecting my privacy. I can't recommend Mio enough for whatever brings you to this beautiful city.

Staying in Recoleta

Neighbourhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
