We stayed at the Savoy Hotel in Buenos Aires for 3 nights before and Antarctic Cruise. This was our second trip to Buenos Aires and we did find that the city has been through a tough time. There were protests everyday outside our hotel. We could not wait to join the ship. I am sure that the hotel was grand...

We stayed for one night; this hotel is not at all grand yet neat and convenient. you can go around on foot in the area Recoleta which is centre (according to what I was told. We tried afternoon tea at Tortorli, a long histroyand famous coffee shop with old and vintage decor. Not bad but not as expected.

Stayed for two nights following a cruise. Quick and easy check in. The first room offered was extremely luxurious but had no natural light which made it all depressing but we had no bother changing to a second room. Staff were extremely polite and helpful but the whole area is subject to massive roadworks which made walking to and from...

We spent 3 nights in the Savoy hotel prior to our cruise and enjoyed every minute of it. What a lovely place - beautifully decorated with paintings, pictures from old days and antique furniture in the lobby and corridor. Elevators are superb too - not every day you can travel with Albert Einstein (natural size photo). Rooms are modern, clean...

Friends recommended the Savoy for an overnight stay after our cruise. We thanked them heartily. It is a very grand old style hotel in a central location. The breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing with mostly bread and pastries. The scrambled eggs and bacon ran out by about 8:00 am and didn't get replenished. Everything else about our stay was...

Reasonable price for a city hotel. Room and bathroom were nice and clean Public areas are very ornate with high ceilings. Staff at reception were very efficient. Breakfast which was included was very good, but the restaurant in the evening was closed and eating in the lounge was not satisfactory. Bit of a hike to some of the tourist attractions...

The location is good, a short walk to Av. 9 de Julio. The room was a good size with comfortable beds and great water pressure. The food, both the breakfast buffet and the lobby bar was delicious. What really kicked this up was the staff-from early check-in on, they were professional, informed and compassionate. Also, the quirky art touches from...

The hotel is a turn of the century hidden gem. The Hotel is excellent. The staff were outstanding and assisted with everything we asked.
