A group of us stayed here because of proximity to our business location for the trip we were on. This isn't a flagship Sheraton Hotel. If you think in terms of a decent older hotel that may be convenient to your business location you probably won't be disappointed. A couple of notes: breakfast was OK but imaginative, bar area and... I was in town for business and the other hotels I would have preferred to stay at were sold out. The staff was nice especially Raul, but the rooms and hotel were so outdated. I stayed on the Club Level, but you couldn’t tell. The floor and amenities were no different than the other rooms. The club room really didn’t... More

Check in was fabulous. I was upgraded to a club room. Lounge offerings were okay but service was good at both breakfast and happy hours. Hotel is next to the mall and Florida shopping areas. It was easy to Uber to hotel from the airport but the Uber wouldn't pick up from the hotel unless I moved my pin to... More

This hotel is right by the popular Florida street shopping district. The lobby is expansive and has a pleasant 70s chic feel. I mean this in a good way. Check in was fast and efficient. The hotel is older, but well maintained. The rooms are nicely appointed and wifi is fast. The staff was nice and accommodating. The lounge has... More

I stayed in this property two weeks before a cruise sailing around the horn and to enjoy tango dancing with my partner in the Milonga classic in Buenos Aires. Even if you don't tango, visit a Milonga to get a real taste of the culture. I have a rule of thumb that two weeks in a hotel and things get... More

Stayed at the Sheraton Liberator. The location is exception, next to Avenida Florida, walking distance to Puerto Madero. The hotel is reasonably priced and well frequented. Don't expect luxury or very personal service. Nonetheless, the reception desk staff was very accommodating. Two areas where the hotel could improve: The breakfast buffet was hectic and almost chaotic. The fitness center had... More

After a 37 day cruise from San Diego to BA, we were looking forward to our time in the Paris of South America. What a disappointment. Firstly we were ripped off at the port by the shady controlled taxi to the Sheraton. No pick by hotel at this Sheraton! A $5-6 fare was $30 at the port or no taxi!... More

Outdated rooms with falling wallpapers. No electricity plugs - they give you 1 (one!!) converter so you can charge something... Horrible view from the windows. Noise. Staying in San Nicolas

Neighbourhood Profile
San Nicolas
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down streets lined with office buildings and banks. The financial district is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours. After dark, the hubbub and migrates to Corrientes Ave., where theatre lovers might start their evening at a play and end it in one of the many traditional pizzerias nearby.
