We were here at the end of december 2011. The room was very little and not very clean. The staff not very professional and absolutely not avalaible. We had the New Year's Eve in this hotel. What a bad experience! We spent 120 euros per person and the buffet was terrible, not a lot of variety and very poor food....

Spent weekend starting Jan. 13. Checked in after midnight with no problem or wait. Much has been said about location. My take is as follows. I've been to BA over ten times in the last 6 years. At first glance, at night, the area around the Sheraton is dirty and seedy. It is near the Calle Florida shopping street, which...

Great location, right next to the start Florida and about a block from galeria pacifico. About a 30 min walk to Recoleta. 10 min walk to Puerto Madero. The room was extremely clean and updated. The room was very big and comfortable which was nice since we were staying for 6 nights. Front desk was very helpful if you don't...

Our airline flights made our stay shorter than we planned at the Libertador, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The Front Desk staff was excellent, and very helpful. They responded immediately to any special requests we had. We would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here overnight on our way through Buenos Aires to Tierra del Fuego. Check-in was efficient and we were able to go to our rooms right away despite our early (noon) arrival. Baggage was delivered promptly. Location was convenient to the tourist scene. Room was comfortable, fairly standard for a Sheraton. The mattress was very poor compared to what I've...

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights from 14/12/11 to 19th. The rooms are average to say the least, the coffee is undrinkable in the foyer and it is the mosty expensive that I drank in BA. The lifts are slow and overall, this hotel only deserves a 3 star at the most. Service, what service, you want service...

Hello, we stayed at the Sheraton Libertador for Christmas 2011 and found the hotel, overall, simply as Average. A few details: Location: If you are a tripadvisor user, the location is pretty good. Most of the reviewed restaurants and activities are near this hotel. That said, BA's wonderful Palermo district is about 20-30min away by collectivo and the capitol district...

We found this place to be very nice, clean, very comfortable sleep and centrally located. It was worth the $110/night we paid. We enjoyed the breakfast although found it to be a little expensive because it was not included. The pool and sauna area was great!!! We completely enjoyed our stay and they even allowed us a late check out...

We switched from another hotel (which we thought was past its prime) to this hotel after our Holland America cruise. Turned out, this is also the hotel that several of the cruise lines use for pre/post hotel stays so the hotel on Dec. 20 was extremely busy, which made the elevators really slow. But in any event, the hotel is...

Neighbourhood Profile
San Nicolas
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down streets lined with office buildings and banks.
