I just stayed three nights at this hotel and besides the fact that it has a great location and a nice room, nothing else attract me there. This hotel had a huge make over and their rooms are almost new, nice wood floor and clean bathroom, besides that they have a nice location, just couple blocks away from the main...

Good location on quiet street. Number of good restaurants close by. Very quiet. Front desk staff was very helpful when LAN changed my flight and made sure I had a car to transport me to AEP at 3 AM. Therefore , was not able to sample their breakfast or other ammenities. Quiet, clean room. Small elevators.

The services were standard, the hotel has free wi-fi, but you have to ask for the username and password at the desk and they don´t have this info displayed anywhere. The front desk staff speaks good English and commnication was not a...

Hubby and I stayed in this hotel while he attended an academic conference in the city. The hotel was an inspired choice, as its central location allowed me to tour while he went off for his meetings. iThe hotel was only two blocks away from the main shopping district and a 20 minute walk awy from the major city sights.....

I and my wife have stayed at this well-located hotel with friendly service five times between April 2009 and May 2012. It is not luxurious but is clean, located near shopping and restaurants (Los Remolinos across the street is great as is Natascha a block away to the left as you exit the hotel.) The staff is friendly and attentive.

Staying in Retiro

Neighbourhood Profile
Retiro
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighbourhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
