Rooms and public areas are very old. The beds are terrible. It is not a real 4 star and like a 3 stars. However location is perfect, it is in microcentro and easy access to many tourist attractions. Staff is very helpful and wifi is...More
The hotel is excellently located in downtown Buenos Aries, a few metres from the main boulevard Avenida 9 de Julio. From here you can walk to all the tourist attractions in central Buenos Aries and also to the up-market re-developed Old Port area. You can...More
I stayed in this hotel for 1 full week at a fantastic rate. I was looking for a hotel less than $70/night in downtown Buenos Aires and I found the perfect deal at the El Conquistador Hotel. The hotel and the room itself is very...More

We wanted to thank you for your comments. We hope to see you again in the near future.
Comfortable hotel with facilities to be expected of a hotel at this price. I would say that the outstanding feature is it's staff whom I found to be extremely helpful and friendly in all departments. I will definitely seek out this hotel for future visits.

Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighbourhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with
ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.

Yes, you can take a taxi from EZE airport, and the fare is around 450 pesos. However, it is cheaper to take the Manuel Tienda Leon Bus shuttle. The bus takes you to their downtown Buenos Aires terminal, and from there a small shuttle takes you to your final destination (your hotel) for no additional charge. Once you exit customs, you will find their office on the left side (along with other taxi booths). The bus is located in front of the domestic terminal, so you will have to roll your luggage for about two blocks. Have a safe, great trip.
