The issue was a 21% VAT charged to my room, but not subtracted when my foreign passport and credit card were presented. This is against the tax law of Argentina, but an easy bonus for management. I alerted booking.com (with whom I booked). Its staff wrote to Hotel Aeroparque and they said I did not use a foreign credit card....

The hotel is convenient if you are between flights, not for a long stay. Personnel at the front desk are very helpful to provide information about the city. The location is not easy to find. Rooms are small, as well as bathroom.

It's a really average hotel, nothing to write home about, but the staff is friendly, and so is quality of sleep. They include a modest but OK breakfast and it's so close to airport that this is really convenient if you have an early morning flight. Note that if you land in AEP there shuttle to hotel is free, BUT...

Staff is very friendly. Rooms are old and outdated however the bed is almost perfect. A little short. The linen is high quality and clean. Bathroom is old but functional. Could be renewed (soon). Breakfast is very simple with no eggs, no fruit. Just bread with ham cheese or cereal with milk. I would probably try another hotel next time....

Average hotel, it's good for an overnight flight connection at AEP (Aeroparque Jorge Newbery), has (inbound) airport shuttle service which is convenient. It also has a dinner service (which I didn't try), something that can also be useful if landing late.

Comfy, nice simple breakfast. Pleasant staff. Needed 8hrs kip whilst on lay-over heading home with my wife. Tempted to walk as airport overlooks the sea (don't think my wife was) as it is only 1.5km - not a good idea as only a taxi would find it! Free bus arrival - had to wait 30mins so had a coffee. Taxi...

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel for a one night stopover. They offer a free transfer from airport to hotel with Tienda Leon (just go to the desk on arrival). But this is only one way so you will need to book a taxi back to the airport. The room was clean and the staff exceptionally helpful even in...

I stayed here twice when on a business trip to Patagonia. The hotel offers a one-way (Aeroparque to hotel) free transfer with Tienda León, is pretty close to it and rooms are quiet, good bed and shower. There´s good quick food nearby at Trixie, a 1950´s-themed American diner, a five-minute safe walk. It´s well away from anything else in Buenos...

First: I had a problem with the dates and made a first reservation for the night before I intended. When I realized it, I phoned the hotel to try to correct. The hotel asked me to solve with Booking.com what I did. Booking spoke to reservations the next date by the hotel was inflexible and fully charged me for the...

This hotel is not fancy but has everything you need for a comfortable and convenient stay near Buenos Aires' Aeroparque airport. Room was clean, well-maintained and very well soundproofed as I could barely hear the aircraft taking off overhead. The breakfast had a lot of bread and pastry choices with good dinners, although a little pricey. There is an American-style...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
