Like many older hotels, the Abasto Hotel showed its age. The rooms were clean but the the carpeted floors had seen better days. The cleaning staff did well and the room was spotless but lacked charm, in the same way many mid-range US business hotels do. Boring art on the walls, heavy and uninteresting bedspread and curtains. That said, the...

Abasto Hotel has a perfect location. The hotel is just across the street to a nice mall located where the old Abasto (market) used to be. There are at least four nice coffee shops located less than 100 meters away, banks and transport. The building is quite nice, with a conference room, swimming pool and other facilities. The service are...

Best hotel and best customer service. It's location is very strategic. Corientes Avenue take you straight to the city centre to see the cathedral, pink house etc. You can walk to town 30 minutes or take a taxi or train. Hotel is next to Abasto shopping mall. You can do your shopping anytime as some shops close at 10 and...

This was our third time coming to this hotel. The first time we had an issue with the room and they fixed the problem. This time the floor was wet and we told them in the morning. When we got back from a city tour the problem got worse and got our clothes wet in the room. When I told...

I arrived at the airport August 25 in the PM. I had previously emailed with the hotel about a shuttle to pick me up (I was by myself). They said I had to call if I was at the airport. So I did. No one spoke English and they eventually hung up on me. Then I had someone who speaks...

Older hotel with large and well appointed rooms. Excellent location by the shopping mall and lots to do in the vicinity. Breakfast is not fab and could be improved but the rest of the experience is great!

Great views of the city. Very centrally located, and perfect for the real Argentinian feel. Charming hotel with a great bar and restaurant. Free tango lessons were offered, which was awesome. Certainly the place to stay when you visit Buenos Aires.

Yes it may need a new carpeting, yes it may need new pillows, however look at your bill when checking out. It's not like you came here to hang in your room. It's a functional very reasonably priced place to be in a great location. The staff are really nice.
