Although my recent visits have been confined to "one night stands", either coming from or returning to Europe, by my reckoning, I have now stayed at the Claridge more than two dozen times, a figure which speaks for itself. Having experienced a large number of other hotels in BA during visits spanning more than 40 years, the Claridge is indubitably... More

Not a 5 star hotel by far for me. Difficult to get to with a private car. Room was hot and air conditioning did not work. Overall a bit shabby. Service was average. Location isn't too bad. Would never go back.

If you are looking for a perfect hotel and do not bother about atmosphere there is a huge variety. If you prefer a traditional place with the real hotel feeling, Claridge is the best choice. It is a traditional hotel in the British mansion style (though a high-rise in BA microcentro) with the luxury standard of the 1950s. The building,... More

This is part of my husband's letter to Orbitz/Expedia regarding our trip. I only wish I had hotel staff names. A few nights after being in the hotel, I awoke to something crawling on my face. I turned on the light, and found several blood smears on my pillow, and numerous bugs crawling on me. When I went to the... More

The Claridge Hotel was the first place I stayed on my trip to Buenos Aires. It's an older but very nice hotel situated in the north end of the business district of Buenos Aires--Microcentro. The location has easy walking access to the pedestrian street, Calle Florida, to the Teatro Colon, to the Plaza de Mayo where the Casa Rosado is,... More

A very good hotel. The room was big and very comfortable. The breakfast was good. The location also seems to be perfect, even though not for bars and nightlife (at least not in midweeks). We could walk a few minutes to the real center of the city, and took the Tourist Bus as well (good if you are into sight... More
