Stayed here twice in March, once at the beginning of our trip for 3 nights and then after traveling in Argentina (Iguazu and Bariloche). The hotel is modern, clean, and quiet. The rooms are a nice size and ours came with a lovely small patio. Front desk staff were helpful, friendly and quick to respond to our requests. Breakfast was...

We arrived after a long flight from Washington DC. Our two kids 8 and 6 were exhausted. Our room was not ready, it was 1030 am, but staff was extremely nice and helpful to make our wait as comfortable as possible. Room was very nice and clean. Staff extremely professional and courteous. We really enjoyed our stay at BA Sohotel in Buenos Aires. The front desk was extremely accommodating and helpful especially with us not knowing the Spanish language. They helped us get dinner reservations, recommended places to visit, arranged transportation, and directed us seeing the best of BA. The internet connection in the room was not very strong and difficult to...

We were looking for a spot that would offer a safe and interesting neighborhood. Unfortunately, the area is congested and noisy, and a bit far from shops and parks. We did walk to the botanical garden one day, and attempted to walk to Recoleta, but it was hot and the traffic made the walking unpleasant. I would recommend that the...

Our first trip to Buenos Aries and were not sure in which area to stay. Well, we lucked out and chose a fantastic location. So many independent shops, bakeries, cafes, gelato shops, restaurants and parks. We even walked to the Recoleta area from hotel. The staff at the hotel were fantastic - attentive, friendly and efficient. We booked 2 tours...

Small hotel in Palermo Soho which is an incredible location! Think Chelsea/Soho in NYC. Cute shops and restaurants and bars. Hotel was clean and rooms were large. Hotel staff is incredible; friendly, polite and incredibly helpful. They absolutely went the extra mile and by the end of the week knew my name. I would highly recommend staying here!

Amaizing people working in the lobby and the restaurant. Very attentive, friendly and hospitable. Very clean and cozy room, with temperature control, that was very important during cold days of July. Shampoo was not so good so bring your own.

True to its 'design' tag, this hotel is vey well placed for the Subte (subway/underground) and the trendy Palermo Soho area. The front of house staff very helpful and the restaurant staff equally attentive. Great value for money. Food very good, large clean rooms, good street views, quite when windows shut, execellent keyless entry to rooms, great shower, etc. only...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
