We felt at home immediately thanks to Mariano and Zuni. They are very warm, kind and helpfull. A great place to be. Everything we need is there. If there is one remark, it would be the griddle. An electric kettle could do a lot.

I will definitely stay at la Casona over and over again!. The places besides being in a great location in the heart of historic district San Telmo, has a lot of light and a beautiful roofed inside courtyard with excellent privacy and an relaxing ambiance. Inside, the units are extremely clean and fully equipped (kitchen, living areas, bedroom and bathroom)....

The apartment we stayed in was cozy, with a table and chairs, small sofa and 2 single beds pushed together on the mezzanine floor. It has a really good location in San Telmo and a nice roof terrace but unfortunately it rained when we were there. Overall it was OK for a few days but a little lacking on the...

Booking process was handled promptly and efficiently by Mariano. Zuni was polite and helpful upon arrival. Comfortable and conveniently situated. Reasonably priced/value for money. Nice touch was the complimentary bottle of wine. Would recommend for the traveller who is looking for what I've described.

Staying in Montserrat

Neighbourhood Profile
Montserrat
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighbourhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.
