This hotel is fantastic value for money. The staff are really helpful. We stayed there three times whilst touring around Argentina. They stored our bags for us for a week at a time while we went off to different climates and made sure we had the same room every time we came back. Breakfast is basic but fine. Our room... More

Interesting lobby and ambience however more attention to facilities and general cleanliness required. Stayed in superior room but the bathroom was tiny and not for purpose. Staff are on permanent auto pilot and generally a little listless. More suitable for the Airbnb market than the hotel market. Overall maybe a little too shabby chic.

Thanks for your comment. I would like to know, why do you say the staff is listless. We know that our rooms are not so spacius like in another hotels, so are the bathrooms, but at the moment, we offer one the bests deals in the neighbourhood (one of the best areas in town). Regards, More

we had a convenient stay in this beautiful old building. Our room was quite small, but clean and sweetly decorated. We didnt mind the onyl tiny window as outside was quite hot. The guys at the front desk were very helpful. Breakfast is offered on the ground floor prepared by a very friendly and elegantly Buenos Aires- style Senora. The... More

Great place for the price. Staff was helpful and room was clean. Breakfast was typical fare and just enough to start the day. Wifi worked in the room and the lobby. Very convenient location. Rooms are small and I booked a king room but I didn't spend much time in the room. Lobby is a comfortable place to hang out.

The A Hotel is gorgeous! It has an art gallery which match exactly with Buenos Aires and its lovely Museums. The location is very good. Only 5 minutes from the Subway / Santa Fe Avenue and 15 minutes from the beautiful Cemetery/Bellas Artes Museum, in the middle of the outstanding Recoleta and it's surrounded by great restaurants and caffes. The... More

We enjoyed a 5 night stay in A Hotel. It is very quiet and the rooms are cozy. The bathrooms are a bit small but adequate and all functions well. The breakfast is quite sufficient considering that you do not really have breakfast in Argentina. The personnel at the desk is very helpful and friendly. The building is old but... More

Nicely decorated building with lot of art, perfectly located in Recoleta. Small rooms Typical poor Argentina hotel breakfast. No eggs. The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. They arranged a shuttle to the airport for a reasonable price.

The rooms are small. Very. The internal room are dimly lit and quiet yet the externally rooms with the balcony are extremely noisy with the street. Breakfast is ok. After several mornings we tired of the same food. Sunday's croissants are stale. We stayed twice as part of a tour and both showers leaked water into the bathroom. The reception... More

Thanks for the comment. Yesterday, we experienced that the Internet, was quiet slow, even, in the computers of the front desk, the problem was from the company that provides internet, we checked all the routers and they were working ok. According to the breakfast, we serve always the same (we only change the fruits depending on the season). In which... More

We stayed here on two occasions as part of our trip to BA. Our first room which was a double in the middle of the hotel was nice and quiet, although can hear other showers and toilets. It was of reasonable size. NO windows, just two small high squares of light. The bathroom is small and the shower always leaked... More

Thanks for the comment. It`s a shame that on your second stay, you did not ask the front desk, to give you a room at the back. We did not have any complains about the wifi in a long time, I do not know what happened. We know that our standard rooms, are quiet small. Feel free to contact us... More

Staying in Recoleta

Neighbourhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
