We were a group of 3 women who typically stay in Airbnbs, boutique hotels, family run inns, etc. rather than large chain hotels. We were pleased with Solar Soler, but there were definitely quirks/character in this 100 year old building. PROS: Location. Palermo Hollywood was very safe and had a neighborhood feel. We picked this B&B due to its proximity... More

The b&b is quaint, located in an accessible part of Palermo. The rooms are clean and cozy. The staff are friendly and super helpful. Breakfast- yummy with home made yogurt. I like that you need a key to get in and out of the b&b. Quiet and clean, which is a travelers delight, wifi no problem. Easy to feel comfortable here.

Location of this B&B is excellent. Not too far to walk to the nearest tube station, and the area had a lot of nice restaurants. Sadly, the place is showing signs of being a bit neglected/run down. Signs of damp problems in places and a number of annoying faults, like no bulbs in bedside lights, and door nobs falling off,... More

Andrea and Max were welcoming, informative and helpful hosts. Their assistance with transport questions - such as bus numbers to particular destinations & airport transfers was both time and money saving. The subway is close, as are the bus stops. The B & B is cosy and homely - just what I needed as a solo traveller at the end... More

This place is great and has a very serene atmosphere inside and a lovely private patio. The breakfast was beautifully laid out. Our bed was very comfortable. Just be sure you do not arrive after 10 pm. Due to a plane delay, we arrived at 9:40 pm and were given a key to the house, because no one is there... More

We stayed at this unique hotel 3 nights and enjoyed every minute. It has a great location in a young & fashionable neighborhood. While walking in the neighborhood we found cool shops and large offer of restaurants and bars from all types and prices. The hotel stuff is very welcoming and pleased to help, they even guided us where we... More

Spent just one night in the room n.3 with the door into the internal garden. Not slept very much as there were several mosquitos and I didn't have any countermeasure with me. The night guardian tried to help with a burning spiral, but I was intoxicated by its smoke. Suggest to buy a spray by yourself before trying to sleep... More

That bing said, the bed was very comfortable, the a/c worked excellently, shower pressure/temperature was very good and he staff was exceedingly helpful. My Wife and I stayed at Solar Soler the first week in January. It's a very lovely hotel that resembles a large house. I believe they have 10 or so different rooms. Breakfast was very well appointed and I highly recommend the home-made yogurt. The staff was incredibly helpful in helping us plan out our daily activities. The room was... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
